Here, an easy one. Alot easier than deciding what backhoe to buy.
What should I expect to pay for a new BH90 with 12" bucket, reversible pads and remote hydraulics, installed on my 3130GST. I got a ball park of $7800 from a dealer last month. Can he do better or should I hold him to that price?
Thanks, Ray

I bought mine around 8 weeks ago - $7395 with a 16" bucket, installed, when I bought my tractor and other implements. I really enjoy it. Even my excavator is pretty amazed with the L series and the BH90, and he usually only uses the really big dozers and trackhoes. ....

Hey Huck,
It took me a long time to decide if I wanted to go with the BH90 or BL4690B because I use the 3PH alot and was worried about how hard it will be to get it back in working order after I remove the hoe. From the pics Ive seen, it looks like you could possibly leave the stabilizers bolted to the axle, the lifting links bolted at the top and maybe the lower arms bolted on if you were to bungy or use plastic wire ties to hold everything out of the way. That way you wouldnt have to actually unbolt anything, just pull all the pins. I know it sounds lazy but I may be changing out the BH on job sites and I would prefer not to get the tool box out if I can help it. ....

Lemme look at doing that. I can hopefully try in the next day or so. It might be doable, I'll report back. Perhaps art or someone has already tried.
The 'hoe definitly goes on and off quick - But I've always added/removed the links (4 bolts). If I could leave them on, that would be the ticket... I've just been doing mostly backone work, so I've not really tried. ....
