Hi;
I was told that it is not a good idea to mow with the bucket loader attached. But I see my neighbors doing it all the time. I do have a pretty steep hill in the front. Should i take the bucket loader off ?

Some tractors benefit from the extra weight of a loader during transport to balance a heavy 3ph mower. Some people take off loaders to reduce turf damage from the front tires. I can't think of a safety reason on slopes for taking off a loader (it might even be better with it on) but maybe somebody else has a reason. ....

The best reason to take it off is the weight. No difference than a doctor telling you that your life will be shorter unless you loose 20 lbs than a tractor front end carrying an extra 400 lbs all day! ....
