Looking at buying a 1990 Kubota 7200 4WD tractor, would like to get estimates on fair market value.
Tractor is 1990 Kubota 7200, 4WD, no PS, 3pt hitch, no ROPS, 70% R1 tires, front blade (Model 2030, power angle/power lift) with skid shoes. Paint is somewhat faded, generally good condition; tinwork VG (slight defects on fenders). Gear drive. No implements, bare tractor.
What is estimated market value of this unit?
Thanks!

The B7200 that you wonder about is not posted with any hour meter reading. That being said, on an average,I'll base my estimate.
The tractor itself as you pointed out has "VG" sheetmetal, with reasonable rubber, and a power angle plow, NO ROPS.
The price breaks down as follows:
B7200DT 4WD about $6000 - $7000, with a subtraction for NO ROPS of about $500.00, installation labor included. (point worth mentioning, in many states, the selling dealer is now being held responsible for liability incase of injury as a result of rollover injuries sustained without the use of ROPS). Kubota has a safety program in place for about $150.00, for any given s/n 'd unit without factory ROPS, to secure a retrofit kit ROPS.
The power angle plow ADDS value to the unit of as much as $1000.00, if in good to excellent shape as this unit/option is no longer available from orange, only the manual angle kits are in limited quantities, so I'm told.
The other point of value, is what the geographic region bares. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less.
Hope this helps you out.

Sorry, I neglected to post the hours on this unit - by the meter, it reads 670.5 hours. I have no reason to believe the meter is off/disconnected. ....

In North East Ohio one can purchase a late 80's early 90's B7200/6200 in very good condition with mmm for around $5000. These are 4wd tractors with around 800 hours, excellent sheet metal and good drive train and tires. They would also include front/rear PTO and 3ph. I passed on a B7200 with 850 hrs.,4wd,3ph,mmm,front/rear pto and rops for $5000. I later bought a B6200 4wd,mmm,3ph,rear blade,front/rear pto, rops, excellent sheet metal, new Interstate battery, 860hrs for $4800 delivered. Maybe this will give you an idea of current market value.

I think I'll take a drive out to Ohio and pick a few pieces up! Those are some great prices that you posted. One could only dream of those up here in the north east.
Carry-on!

My father has a B7200 purchased in 1983. It is a 4WD Gear Drive, turf tires. Very Good shape. Garage kept since he purchased it brand new in 1983. One owner. My father is now 81 and has a smaller tractor to mow his property so he wants to sell the tractor. It has a drive over 60" mower deck and no other attachments. He going to get me the hours of service but used it to mow his one acre and push snow with his rear blade. He lives in Northeast Ohio near Greenville PA. He hasn't used it for about three years. I replaced the battery last year. Runs good. Suggested price? ....

Not knowing the hours, or the actual condition of the tractor, it is somewhat tough to attach a price to it. That said, out my way here in the North East, that tractor in very good shape, both mechanically and physically will fetch between $4000 - $6000. Had it had a frontloader, the price would be an easy $7500 with the mower and blade. All depends on the market at time of selling...Spring time more folks are seeking tractors with mowers, and likely to realize a higher price based on seasonal demand, than in the Winter months.
Hope this helps

Thanks so much. I appreciate the insight. I will be getting the actual hours of service and some pictures this week from my dad and will add that information to the post next week in hopes of narrowing the price down for him.
Thanks again. ....
