I have talked to many dealers about installing a Kubota 4672 back hoe on a B2410. About half say do it, the others say it will shake rattle and roll and not dig well except in soft, sandy soil. I have read most of the posts about sub-frame vs. 3 point mounting, etc, but I am now looking for comments, both the good and the ugly, from actual users of the Kubota 4672 on small frame tractors.

One dealer claimed that the is a reinforcing kit from Kubota that runs from the lower hitch to the loader frame, but he could not show me a picture or part #

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I have a b1700 with a 4672 hoe. The b1700 is the same platform as the b2400.( the predesesser to your machine)
You must remember that these are small backhoes. With a little finness you can do alot of digging, BUT BUT BUT you can also do alot of damage to your machine if you are not careful. I have never actually seen a tractor broken in half, but I have had my 1700 completly supported by the backhoe(not good) in a fraction of a second when I first got the machine.
If your going to use the BH for heavy and continuous work I would reccommend a different combination, If on the other hand your going to use the BH yourself(not lending the machine out) and you have patients the 4672 is a fine unit. I have done over 400 feet of drainage etc. and a few very large stumps(time consuming)and have been very pleased. I have also called people in with large equipment to pull stumps out in bulk, saving the 4672 for the work it was intended for.
I believe the 4672 requires
Partial subframe (MMM compatable)
and a heavy duty TOP LINK BRACKET
Good Luck
