I am trying to decide which will suit me best. I will be using the tractor for snowblowing, lawn mowing and occcasional brush cutting only. The snowblower will be a 5 ft 3 pt hitch with a hyraulic chute. My dealer quoted me about a $900. difference between the two. Considering my applications, will the larger engine make enough of a difference to justify the extra cost? It's not about the $$$, I just don't want to pay for something that I don't need. On the other hand, the extra $$$ is nothing if I am sorry I didn't opt for the larger HP. I am ready to make the purchase within the week. Any real life experience with either of these tractors would be greatly appreciated.
PS - I have been a diehard Deere fan. In my opinion, their products keep getting more expensive while quality keeps going downhill.
Thanks for any help.

Go with th B3030.. Thats cheap money for 4 extra HP, plus the B3030 has the better seat (adjustable springs), plus the operating rpms is 200 lower on the B3030. Also, if you decide to sell, trade, you will easily get that extra money back..

Depending on all the uses it might be easy to justify the extra horsepower alone not counting on other options! You might want to be looking at larger attachments for that chassis as well as horsepower. ....
