I'm torn. Has anyone researched the L4630 vs. JD 4320? I'm going to buy one or the other with FEL, HST, R4 tires. Any cons of either?
Thanks,
John

I would say it would depend on you and your uses. The kubota is tried and true as a long time performer. The new model deeres offer a new profile to there line up. Try operating and looking at the tractors for you and what you have to do and how long you expect to be doing it. ....

Decision made! After trying both Orange wins. The Deere was very nice but the loader performance (speed & multifunction) was disappointing. I will use the tractor for pulling 6' rotary cutter, grading, and misc. I'm going in to sign the papers monday. How does $25k sound for 4630 with FEL, HD bucket, skidsteer adapter, and hyd. top & tilt on the rear?
Thanks,
John ....

317, No I might get out of the business as much as I love it, home design and GC seems to take up more and more of my time. So my International dump, which is a sweet heart and the 10 ton trailer might be forsale too. You picked a great machine. Kubota makes nice stuff. You are going to love it for years to come. Had a Kubota L3000DT with a Salsco chipper, Farmi log winch, and Woods backhoe, that was a great machine, never a problem, even the new owner has never had a problem. I needed tractor therapy today. Almost went out and dug up a huge maple stump for the snow plow guy just to be on the machine for a while. Ground is like a rock so it would take a while. Nothing like tractor work, don't know what it is but it's great for the mind and soal and always has been. ....

I know what you mean. I don't get as much tractor seat time as I used to. I build custom homes and develop land. So I've got all the toys but little time to play with them myself. Don't give up on the toys. Good luck!
