I recently bought a Kioti LK 3054 with a Koyker loader And a Woods bakhoe. I have put 28 hr. on it and I realy like the way it works, i'ts a very powerful machine. The only question that I have is regarding what apears to be some excessive "mechanical" noise coming out of the PTO when everything is in newtral. When I step on the clutch, the noise goes away.It sems like something is not disangaging al the way.The PTO works normally on both speeds.Does anyone out there have come across the same problem?I spoke with the dealer and he doesn't know what it could be.I would realy appreciate any feedback from other owners who might have come up against a similar situation. Thanks a lot. Peter M

Peter,
I had a 3054 and I never experienced that problem. I would think though, that if the both you and the dealer can hear the noise, the dealer should pull it into the shop and do some investigating. He/she should contact Kioti and ask some questions about whether they have had anyone else with this problem. I am totally sold on Kioti tractors, but no matter what brand you have, you will always have the chance of getting something that wasn't installed correctly or not designed correctly and 99% of the time the problem shows up within the warranty period. Insist that it gets checked out. Just my two cents. Brian ....

All 3052/4's do that. Sometimes it is just more noticable, IF you have a sunshade or a backhoe you'll notice it more. The sunshade amplifies everything and the backhoe puts you back there next to the source of the sound. It has to do with the way the gears mesh with each other when everything is in nuetral. Don't worry about it.
