I am selling a JD 332 tractor, 50" deck, and 54" front blade with hydraulic angle. The blade and deck are in good condition, but the tractor has high hours (3000+). Formerly used to cut cemetary lawns. The tractor is in fair to good condition, it runs strong but is starting to show signs of blow-by. It is well maintained and has no significant leaks, but does show the usual wear and tear from high use. Any guidance in pricing the package would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

With that many hours and wear on the machine, don't expect to get much. (maybe less than $1000) You may be able to clean it up nice and pretty and trade it in on a new John Deere and get a pretty decent dollar for it but the salesman will try to high side you on the new unit price. Just have to work it a bit, kind a like trolling. ;o) Every piece of equipment has a limit to its service life. At a certain point it just will not bring much. All depends on how mechanically sound everything is. You might luck out and find a buyer who will pay more. ....

You could also try selling it on eBay or just find another at auction for sale so you can watch the final selling price. This will give you a idea what it is really worth. ....

I also have a 332 with 50" deck and 54" snow blade with hydraulic attachment that I'm planning on selling. Mine only has 398 hours on it, not cosmeticly perfect, guy before me stored it outside for over a year. But everything works great and really isn't what I would consider rough. Only reason I'm selling is to get the 2210 with 62" and FEL. I'm going to ask around $4700 - 5000 for starters, then maybe take $4200 - 4400 I hope, per my JD sales rep advice.. ....
