Folks,I'm looking for the specs of the JD 750 series. I'm making an offer ona 750 (circa 1982 but not sure) in excellent condition with 650 hours on it, so I'd like to know the specs in advance. If anyone has any pointers that would be great!thanks,Fredft@sophist.org

Look at the power steering bracket where it hooks to the engine. There should be two bolts facing to the outside.Make sure they are there and tight.750 around 20 hp.Good little tractor. ....

Fred, I just bought a '81 JD 750 with approx 977 hours on it last February. I got the tractor with a fout foot disc harrow, and some wheel weights for $4500. It is in pretty good shape, but not mint condition. I have the owners manual with it and it has all the specs in it, but it's at home and I'm at work. If you want specifics send email. I will bring it in tomorrow and send them to you. These are great little tractors with 21 hp Yanmar engines, which measures about 18.5 hp at the pto. They weigh about 1800 lbs. Keith ....
