I have a JD 4105 Tractor that i am having problems with with the 3pt attachment. The 3 point will lift all the way to the maximum, and lower all the way down, but will not stop in between the two. It worked fine the other day when I used it but now it doesn't. I have a front end loader on the tractor that works just fine. Just can't get the 3 pt to set anywhere between max lift and no lift. Also, to get the 3 pt to lift any at all, the rocker arm must be close to the all way up position. Anything less and it will lower the 3 pt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the feedback linkage may be broken or unhooked. Check #19 in image link. The linkage connects to the left lift arm on the rockshaft. ....

I noticed this post from you. I have the same problem, three point goes all the way up and down but does not stop unless I manually jiggle the lever. I notice that my feedback arm has some play in it. (it is loose). Is that normal or does the play need to be removed?

Yes i did figure out the problem I was having. if you pull the cover off the rockshaft control valve case, there are two cam shafts in there. one of the cam shafts was rusted and locked up. it had sheered the pin on the control arm. do you have a diagram of the components for the assembly? ....

not very good at uploading pictures. I put the web site of the diagram in the Link URL's below.
if that does not work: i went to Google and typed in "john deere 4105 parts diagram page 349". the diagram is the first one that shows on the upper left row. Shaft #20 and #30 are what your looking for. On my JD shaft #20 was rust in the shaft housing. hope that helps. ....

Thank you!!!!!! This was my issue and likely would have never found it without your input. Broken pin in shaft > shaft rusty going into control valve. ....
