I have a JD 955 tractor and the PTO will not engage. There was a blown fuse and I replaced it but it still won't engage. Help!

Have you checked the seat safety switch?
First, remove the wiring harness connecetor from the seat switch and install a jumper wire from the Yellow wire to the Pink/White wire. Now try the PTO... if it works, then the seat switch is bad. If it still doesn't work, access the TDC Module and disconnect the 4-pin harness. Install a jumper wire from the Yellow wire to the Blue wire on the tractor side of the harness. If you had tried all else, you might look at one other. Look on the right side of the trains housing, there should be two wires going into the PTO solenoid. This solenoid might be shorting out when you pull out the PTO button thus blowing the fuse. PS this unit will set you back about $140.00 so test it first. Good Bless! ....
