I recently purchased a JD 2210 with loader for my new 18 acre horse property. I would like to use it for establishing 5 acres of pasture and am looking for advice on what attachments to purchase and where to look for the best deals. I am a complete novice so any advice is welcome.

From what I have been reading on establishing pasture, I will need to till it, spread lime and fertilizer after my soil tests come back and then wait a while before seeding it. The soil is sandy. ....

A disk/harrow to break up the top layer soil to establish a seed bed and a small pto spreader for spreading lime, fertilizer, and seed would get you started. A rotary cutter or some kind of finish mower to keep the pasture cut once you get it established will also be a consideration. Get with you local agricultural extension agent about the soil test and recommendations for lime, fertilizer, and seed application. That should get you off to a good start. ....
