Just got a quote for a NH TC35D hydro supersteer,17LA and
84" rear discharge mmm.Prices are as follows: $20,545;$2,400;$2,900,respectively.This seems a bit high to me as a straight out deal,no trade.Any concerns or comments
on the deck would be great. My ground is all flat, except for
the ditch and not much of that.I also have almost 6 acres
and it would be nice to trim down the mowing time.

Just my two cents... I tested the 33, 35, and 40 out on the farm... The 33 runs circles around the 35 and the 40 is much more of a machine as it has 4 cylinders. The 35 just appears to be too much body for the 35 horses.... ....

I paid $22200 for my TC40D with supersteer,17LA with HD bucket and hooks welded on, loaded R4s, and block heater. I love this machine! BTW- I didn't go for the TC45D because you can't put a mid PTO on it. Go figure. ....

You don't say so I guess I could assume.. but I won't. You mentioned you can't put belly mower on a 45 which I understand... but did your price include a belly mower? Also, What do you use your TC40 for that requires SS. That a fair size unit to mow with! Just wondering!

Thanks..
BTW where did you get it? ....

Tom, how much grass do you mow? Or do you use the mid pto for something else? Snowblower, broom or something I don't know about. ....

BeeFarmer, seems there is an error in my literature it states
in one column that the TC33D's ground speed is 14.3 m.p.h.
and in another place 15.6 m.p.h. I realize it would probably be hard to tell the difference, unless someone was following with a speedometer to tell you. But your statement made me take another look,to see if there was a difference.I'm assuming you agree with the 15.6? Do you mow with your TC33D? Do you have the 84" rear discharge? do you
like it? ....

Dejavu, a feeling that one has had an experience before, although the experience is actually new.
I guess Monty Python humour is lost on this group?
Look back in recent history as we just had someone extract quotes on a TC40 with loader.

No, a belly mower was not included in that price, only the stuff I listed. I actually didn't have the mid PTO installed. Here is my reasoning on the whole tractor: 1-I never want to have to buy another. I agree with what I've read here many times. That is that you will forget the initial price eventually, but you will regret not getting stuff you could have. I sure don't want to have to buy a whole new tractor just because I find myself with a need for a mid PTO. 2- The supersteer may not be absolutely neccesary but it sure is fun. Anyone who has seen it can't believe it and I do know it makes twisting through my woods with the FEL attached easier. 3- 40 HP got me the 4cyl and the bigger frame. I pull a big (6 cyl) chipper and I wanted a tractor bigger than the chipper.
I just bought a 6' bushhog for next season to mow my trails (about 2 miles) and maybe 5 acres of field. I hope I've answered all questions, Tom ....

I forgot to answer 1 of your questions. I bought the tractor from Chuck Romance (owner) at Larry Romance and son. He is located in Arcade Ny which is 1 1/2 hours from me an 2 dealers away. He treated me much nicer than my 2 closer dealers to say the least. Wonderful man and a hell of a dealership. I can't say enough good things about him, including sending a man right out when a safety swich malfunctioned. ....

Ok mister webmaster, now my humour does not play well.
For the record I had a quote of 19,8K for a TC40 with FEL in MS about 8 months ago. Did not buy though went used again.

I was looking through the "green" literature and they said there tractor had" 3 range infinite speed" they must hate guys like us who read stuff. Man that thing must have warp drive or something no wonder it's so expensive. ....
