See many differences here ???This is what I was toldJD 4100 4wd, dual PTO $12499dual scv $995410 loader $2670(Hydro adds $1700)For a gear the above = $16164Dealer took 10% off and quoted $14600What have others got for 4100 pricing ?

Great people to deal with; clean, organized shop; and helpful service personnel. Not paid by commission so their concern is towards making the customer happy. ....

Just got a telephone estimate from a dealer in Stroudsburg, PA. 13,000 4100 plus 6,800 for the hoe hoe and 2,500 for the loader. ....

I was quoted $9995 for 4100 / 4wd + $2750 for 410 loader and dscv. Add $160 for turf tires.Another dealer has add in St. Louis Sunday paper asking $9995 for 4100 4wd. ....

I believe JD is running a national special -- $9,995 for the 4100 gear (that would explain the identical prices that I and the others were quoted). That does not include the valve necessary for a loader, which at my dealer added $660. I've don't have my price info on the loader or belly mower with me, but my recollection is that he's offering list on those. I'll follow up with details maybe tomorrow. I'm in the Albany, NY area. You are right, from the Deere web site, and this board, Deere does not sell a hoe for the 4100. However, there are other companies that manufacture/sell these, and the Deere dealer in NE PA is including them in price quotes. After reading several of the postings on this board about voiding warranty, cracking frame with hoe, etc, I now question what this dealer is actually selling and how he can do this as a Deere distributor. This board has been very, very informative for me on this. Thanks. ....

I did some serious shopping at 4 JD dealers. They were all close in pricebut the best deal I found was at D&G Eqpt. in Mason Mi.JD 4100 hydro 4wd w/ turf tires less DSCV $11,500.With 60" mid-mount JD mower $13,500.Of course we have to add the Michigan 6% sales tax bringing the total to$14,310. All I plan to use the tractor for is mowing, tilling, and adding arear blade for snow removal. If JD ever puts a hydro on the 790 I willtake a serious look at that one! ....

Just took delivery on a JD 4100 w/hydrostat, turf tires, 60" mower, and DSCV for $14,000 even.. I think they are all MFWD and dual independent PTO.The dealer was D&G Eqpt. in Mason, Mi. I also got the JD 12 months same as cash deal.D&G Eqpt. are good, no hassel people to deal with. Other dealers in Mi. wanted$16,000 for the same setup. ....
