 1910 vs 1920

I have found a 86' Ford 1910, great bend 240 loader, 900 hrs, for $10,000, and a 88' Ford 1920, Woods loader, 1200 hrs, for $13,000. What are the big differences between the two models? Are there known problems with either of the models? Any information would greatly be appreciated!

Matt, I don't know anything about these tractors, but they are part of an older Ford series that are reputed to be very good equipment. You can compare the specs on these models at www.tractortips.com/

My father bought a Ford 1710 back in 1985; 24 PTO hp with 2wd. Used it until last summer for mowing and general light farm work, the only repairs required during those 15 years were a new starter (about 5 years ago). It worked so well that when we replaced it, we really didn't consider anything larger. We ended up buying a JD 4300 (26 PTO hp).
