Can the Kubota LA513 loader handle the L2263 72" bucket designed for the LA723? Or is it too much bucket for that loader?

My first thoughts would be to ask what are you putting in it? Kubota for the most part has been bullet proof on their buckets with no problems of them being ripped up and the tractors normally seem to be able to handle them well when full. ....

I'm just putting whatever in it. Dirt, rocks, mulch, wood, etc. The specs only call for a 66" bucket on that loader. But the dealer shipped it with the 72" bucket which is spec'd for the LA723. So I was just wondering whether I should move up to the LA723 or get the 66" bucket for the LA513. ....

WE swap buckets all the time depending on the jobs. For the loose stuff like mulch you'll like the larger bucket. For the stone just don't try to get a really full bucket any you will do fine. It only amounts to one cubic foot of capacity! ....

Thanks Art. Does the extra weight of the larger bucket stress the loader more for the same job. I.e. lifting a full bucket of the same material with the two different buckets... the larger bucket straining the 513 more so it wears out faster or is that pretty much negligible? ....

I was to quick the first time let me get my spec's back out but I wouldn't worry as long as you know and respect the difference! the 66" bucket weighs in at 265 for the square back or 286 for the round back by the book and struck is 8.1 and 9.9cu.ft heaped. The 72" square back is 290lbs and 8.8 and 10.9 cu ft heaped. for the pin on bucket for the 723 loader. ....

So for the 25 lb. difference in bucket weight and only 1 cu.ft. difference in load, it doesn't seem like a big deal unless I was trying to lift big boulders. It seems the big issue is in the 4-500 lb. lift rating difference of the two loaders. I guess an additional consideration is the width. From your experience Art, do you find a bucket wider than the tractor a nuisance from an operational standpoint? ....

One other question Art...and I know this is a change of thread, but do you have list prices for Woods BB60C (slip clutch) or the BB72C? And the list price for the Woods BB600C? I can't find this anywhere. Thanks. ....
