yes this is a new tiller, a 6ft kingkutter II gaer drive model they had $1199.00 on the tiller and during the month of feb. they have 20% off of one item instock at the reg. price which made this tiller $959.20 plus tax ....

You bought it at a good price. The only thing wrong with KK is their paint jobs. Usually, it is all rusted and has flaking paint while it is still at the TSC store. Mine has served me well over the years. ....

Off topic, but since you mentioned log splitters. Are you concerned about hooking up an unknown splitters lines to your lines? I'm thinking there could be a contamination problem. ....

I done some e-mailing and searching for that store and its affiliates in Ill. I got a great response but not so great a deal as JD. DKVince, I had about the same price as you in your area. It was still $155 cheaper than I can get at my farm and fleet but it is not worth the 200mile one way drive. Now if I could get it around $1100 I would be gone tomarroo.
You got a great deal JD, one I fear that will not be around for many years again. Unless they made a mistake and charged you for a 48" tiller you should of bought out the store!!!! I know of 2 guys (incuding myself that would of gave you a $150 profit! LOL
