I have a MASSEY 1225 4wd hydro which is built by Iseki. I have had no problems with it in 250 hours. The compact line of Massey 1205-1260 were all made by Iseki. If you can get service locally and parts I'd say go for it. I use mine for finish mowing, roto-tilling and mostly snow removal. I have turf tires and they work good for me, I get tire slip when I am moving alot of dirt with the blade that I probably would not have with AG tires. As with any tractor watch the hills go up and down and not across. Good luck ....

Iseki's are great tractors. We sell them, along with Yanmars. The Yanmars tend to be a little more popular, but honestly I think the Iseki's are just as good. You will want a 4wd becuase of your terrain. One problem is that most if not all gray market tractors do not have roll over protection. If you have steep hils, this is a real concern. Whatever brand you buy, make sure you find a good honets dealer that will give you service after the sale. ....

Iseki still builds compacts for AGCO under the Massey Ferguson, AGCO ST-series and Challenger MT200 series. ....

Hi Mike - you should be able to get any of these locally:

Filter Bolens # Wix # NAPA # Fram #
==== ======== ====== ====== ======
Fuel 1876440 33624 3624 BG9271
Air 1872002 46270 6270 CAK530
Oil 1874139 51064 1064 PH3593A

Wix makes all of NAPAs filters, which is why the numbers are pretty similar.

Hope this helps...

Hey Jim, having some troubles finding the right air filter for this 154. The Wix filter I bought is too long, has fins on it and the circumference is smaller then the one that was in it. It's the wrong one.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Mike. ....

Our neighborhood association (located in Northern Va.) just purchsed an ISEKI 1610 tractor with bushhog and loader bucket from Corriher Implement Co. in Newton, NC. We could not justify the cost of a new tractor and this company had just what we were looking for at a very reasonable cost.

The people there were very friendly, courteous, patient, and willing to answer any and all questions we had. Myself and another representative of the BFRA traveled over 400 miles (one-way) to deal with these people. The equipment was just as they had stated over the phone. We highly recommend contacting them if you are in the market for a tractor.

I have an Iseki TL4000 3 cyl turbo diesel 4wd tractor. It is a great little unit (I was told 48HP). I'd like to know the US equivalent model in Massey or Agco.

thanks,
