Help Rear PTO light indicator stays on and tractor will not start

Help...I have not used rear PTO but light indicator is on and tractor will not crank. I've had no problems with this before. Fuse looks good. Any suggestions.

Check under the left fender and near the PTO linkage for disconnected wire connectors. A twig or tall grass can easily disconnect them. If that doesn't work, the switch itself may have come loose or gone bad, or the PTO linkage at or to the switch has become out of adjustment. ....
