Looking High and Low for a front axle for my MF'er... to be more certain, the left and right front yoke/u-joint assembly's. Just browsed through this MF forum and a 205 or 205-4 seems to be a little bit on the shy side??

There's a couple of bone yards that handle nothing but tractors and compact tractors. If I can find the info at the shop I'll post it later.

Best of luck. ....

Unfortunately, MF changed the hub to a 19 spline. 14 spline has been discontinued. In order to fix your issue you will have to change the whole front end to a 19 spline. Please let me know if you need help finding these new front end parts.

That makes sense, looking at the agco illustration http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/PartsBooksN/Viewer/book.aspx?book=agco/651424
looks like I can keep my differential, need 2new axle's(#4r,#4l),2 cv joints(#20),2 sets of inner and outer bearings(#6,#22a) and 2 11 tooth drivegear(#23). So would I also need 2 new axle assembly(#1a x2)is that the casting? or the entire assembled part#..?
Do you have an email that we could use? ....

There's no doubt the used parts are out there somewhere but if you can't locate them and it would be more time, work, and money to convert/adapt the front axle to the newer design, you can try taking your parts to a machine shop. It might be possible for new splines to be machined, have the ends beveled where the new splines would join together with the adjoining part, and then weld them. With the joining ends being beveled, this allows more surface area of the weld being penetrated between the 2 halves. Have the machinist rockwell your axle/spline for hardness and then see if they have the right material that can be cut with a carbide cutter. If not, might have to heat treat the piece after it's machined. ...but then again this is the 4wd axles and so you might not be comfortable with the possibilities of it breaking due to the higher torque on it versus it just being a standard 2wd front end axle. ....

I had to have them made... he fabricated 2 new spline shafts, then drilled, pressed and welded new spline shafts into yokes...$500 took almost 2 years looking for replacements and/or some one that DIDN'T say it couldn't be done..Dude did a great job with all the confidence in the world good luck
