Hello

I am writing this message for my Dad. His series 2500 Massey Lawn Tractor has the RMO that won't seem to stay on when the mower is in gear. If he holds it, it works but not too helpful that way. If anyone knows a reason why this might be happening I would so appreciate some advice.

Thanks
Linda

Welcome to TP Linda. I am stumped, what is RMO? I know will drop my head when you explain it but at this minute can not think of what it is. ....

Hi and thanks for getting back to me :)

He just showed me the yellow key on the dash when turned left has a red light that comes on and it is supposed to then go in reverse for cutting grass as you back up when this key is turned. The light comes on but it doesn't stay in reverse. RMO must mean reverse something lol. ....

Wonder if RMO is rear mowing option?
I have looked at Massy's web page on the 2500 lawn tractor and it does not give much info.

Did it use to operate different than this and now is not staying on? If so my guess is there is a safety switch that has gotten bumped or piece of trash affecting it. Those are totally guesses. Do you have a manual? what does it say about the operation of this switch? ....
