I have a JD 4710 E-hydro with 1300 hours on it. When the outside temp is above 80 and I am running it, the main 30 ampre fuse keeps blowing. I have cleaned all the screens, etc. and checked everything. The TEMP gauge shows fine. The tractor will idle all day, no problem.

Forrest,

When main fuses begin blowing, it is usually due to a loose electrical connection.

The extremely high electrical resistance caused by the loose connection, also causes the amperage to increase by a tremendous amount.

Look for a loose wire, corrosion, or even a large wire that is hanging on by only by a few thin strands. (nearly broken)
