my agracat is a 2 cyl. 20 hp.I dont seem to have enough space to get the fan belt under the crank pully to get it out.

Yeah, that's cuz the engine and tractor are made by different companies. Jinma made AgraCats, but they don't make motors. They bought the TY290 motors from a vendor, then bolted it into their tractor. When the front frame member was attached....well, you know the rest.
If I recall, it's a pretty thick V-belt. Probably 5/8" or more. I'm thinking the solution may be to cut the original one out, and replace it with a 1/2" or 7/16" thick belt of the same diameter and width.
Otherwise you're lookin' at unbolting that front frame member (the one that goes under the radiator).
