I was plowing snow today with my FramPro/Jinma 284 and I sheared a piece of the control lever that raises the 3pt. The piece I sheared goes from the lever into the "valve". I loosened the cover of the valve (and fluid poured out). I wanted to take the cover off, so I could pick the sheared piece out and try to replace it. However, the cover will not fully come off. Does anyone have advice on whether I can replace the sheared piece, or whether I need to replace the entire valve?

It's not clear from your description which piece, which valve, or which cover. Any chance you can show us photos? Or perhaps point it out for us on the parts diagram?
