I am in the market for a RFM. After reading several post here, I see a lot of people like the Woods rear discharge units. I went and priced one today at lunch and was quoted $2000 + tax for the Woods RD7200 unit. I had previously been looking at a Landpride FDR1672 which was priced to me at $1250 + tax.

I have no experience with rear finish mowers and need some advice from experienced users….

1. Opinions on these prices
2. Opinions on these two mowers
3. Others that I should look at

Thanks in advance for any advice or comments.

The Deere 272 RFM is on the pricey side but one sweet RFM. Made from 7 gauge steel stamping and built like a tank. Gives a real nice cut as well. ....
