Have a 1980 Ford 1700, curious if this hydraulic block with the quick-connector on it can be used to connect hydraulic valve control for a front end loader:

or do I need specifically the adapter block listed in the parts breakdown:

Thanks!

If that is a full time pressure line it should work as long as you also have a return to your sump. That's what the block gives you a pressure and return connect. ....

I got that figured out and am on to another issue I don't think will be so easily diagnosed.

When I lift my back blade or anything with weight on the 3pt, the tractor starts to shimmy/vibrate and the 3pt slowly drops. The arms will lower all the way when I park and shutoff the tractor too.

The trans dipstick shows full. I got this tractor from my grandfather a couple weeks ago. It only has 1400 hrs so I'm hoping just a full hydraulic oil and filter change will fix this.

Any idea?

Thanks. ....
