I just bought a used Woods M40 Rotary Cutter to go on a Kubota B6100 14hp tractor. I found it by accident at a small town tractor supply shop (the kinds that sells parts and a few implements).I wasn't sure about the price, but after shopping for rotary cutters for about a month, I knew that Woods was a good name and $375 plus tax was a good price for a small rotary cutter.I wanted to get an idea of what kind of value I had. I'm trying to find out what the new price of a Woods M40 is? I called on tractor dealer who had some Woods equipment (but not the M40) and they said the list price was $1500. This sounds way out of line for a 40" rotary cutter.I am also looking for an owner's manual for my new Rotary Cutter. I would gladly pay copying and postage expense for someone to make me a copy.ThanksBill.
