Ken. At the moment nobody can respond to posts with a single quote character in the subject line. Dennis identified the problem and will fix it sometime. Good comments about cutting and safety. There can't be enough said about eye protection. I once was gas welding and bent over to take a close look at part of the bead. Some slag flared and part of it got inside of my welding goggles. It sputtered around between the goggle lens and my eye glasses lenses. Later, when I took off my eyeglasses, there were several pits as well as a bit of slag melted into one lens--they were glass, not plastic then. Figure that it would have been my eye, except for the glasses, and like you, I was wearing safety equipment.
