Mongrelcat,
According to John Deere's official parts site, the Model 616 Rotary Cutter was set up with Category 1 hitch pins. (Stud -- J.D. Part Number A21760)
Provided that your tractor is capable of lifting it, it should hook right up to any standard Cat 1 3-point hitch.
I'm not sure what you mean by "adapter" for the Kubota. It should hook up to any Kubota equipped with a Cat 1, 3-point hitch as well.
The Perfecta cultivator is manufactured by Unverferth Equipment Corp., Kalida, Ohio, USA. It is available in widths from 4 to 20 feet. It's designed for use in seed bed preparation, and is equipped with "S" tines. It is not designed for breaking up sod, or for working up hard ground.
Approximately 2-3 horsepower is required for each "S" tine. Using this as a guide, you should be able find one that your tractor is capable of pulling.

Know two local dealership who recommends the Perfecta brand and one does not sell it.
One of the advantages in tractors and implements is the ability to use about any 3 point hitch tractor or implement with any other as long as you remain with the same category. No idea on Cat 3 (largest I know of) but a fair Cat 1 and Cat 2 will also work together. Often if you have a Cat 1 implement you can use special bushings (low price and all tractor parts or dealerships have them) on those lift pins with a Cat 2 tractor and if you have Cat 2 implements there is no way to use in on a Cat 1 tractor unless you change the lift pins. There are bolt on lift pins made to change the connection pin from Cat 1 to Cat 2 and the other way also. It is a pain to have implements that are used with two different Cat tractors. kt ....
