Is there computer software available for a 3050 Boomer with a CVT? I would like to be able to diagnose issues myself. I would also need a laptop computer.

I took delivery on a TC45D that I bought out of state with approximately 250 hours on it today!<br>

One of the things I noticed was that the forward pedal comes back fairly quickly to neutral (maybe a little too quick at times---perhaps I have to learn to not take my foot off quite so fast) while the reverse pedal takes its time (it seems like a long time when I really want to stop!) maybe 3 or maybe as much as 5 seconds.<br>

As a result of this Discussion Board, I quizzed the tractor dealer about the known problem of the HST pedals sticking. He was aware of the problem and said basically that it was a problem caused by a lack of lubrication and that they had fixed the problem, I understand by removing the pivot bracket (or something like that perhaps) and putting a grease zerk in it.<br>

I got the info from another NH which describes what to do about the problem and gives part numbers plus the serial numbers of certain tractors that the repairs are to be applied to. (It of course requires a new pivot bracket and spring.) The person didn't want to have the info posted with the name of the dealership mentioned. I will see if he will let me post the info without mentioning the source.<br>

In previous posts, I do not remember reading that only one pedal was sticking for sure, but I could be mistaken. Is it correct that the mod that NH has for this problem will have to be applied to this tractor after all? Any comments? Thanks.

When I tried driving it after it had run a few minutes at speed II, while in Turtle, there was a significant strange noise squealing, hard to describe sound) when pushing down on the forward pedal(maybe the reverse too but I don't remember) which I suppose was coming from the HST system. As much as maybe 5 minutes or so later while running at a constant speed it made similar sounds but for just a few seconds at times, then it stopped making the noise entirely while in use.<br>

This was at around 45 degrees F, I believe. Is this normal? Thanks.

3. Also, if one has a little over 1000 hours on it, (a 2000 model---45D w/SuperSteer for $15.9K) is it much of an issue? I understand that how well a tractor is taken care of influences its life greatly.

(I added the two other questions not related to the Subject SuperSteer after realizing I had a few more questions that needed to be answered.)

I am considering purchasing a TC40 or 45 tractor for general all around farm use and was wondering if industrial (which seems like most come with) or AG tires would be better for traction. The tractor would be used for possibly things like pulling out bushes, small trees, loader work with some done on rocky ground, and perhaps some rotovator use, a small amount of plowing maybe, etc.<br>

I am used to using wheeled tractors with Ag tires but maybe industrials would be fine. I'm wondering what others think? Thanks.
