Can this new seat be used on the BX1500.;)

I have the same problem. I just received my check from the bank to purchase a new machine. I have been quoted 7100.00 for a BX1500 with 48"mmm and 8495 for the BX1850 with 54" mmm. When you compare the two tractors the 1500 seems like it is a better machine because it does not have all of the new plastic. The upgrades on the 1850 are nice. BTW the 1500 is a new 2005 machine. The quote for 10,000 seems ok with all of the upgrades the you are getting.
If there are other bx1500 ownere out there please respond!!!

I will finally purchase my tractor this week. Here is my problem.<br>
1 New BX1500 at 7500.00 w/ 48" deck.<br>
2 New BX1850 at 8495.00 w/ 54" deck.<br>

I know that this should be easy.-)<br>
Which one will be the better tractor in the long run.<br>

I have a question about the Kubota BX1500, BX1850, and G2160. The G2160 has a 21 Hp/47.7 cc inch diesel motor.<br>
The BX1500 has a 15 Hp/36.6 cc inch diesel motor.<br>
The BX1850 has a 18 Hp/43.9 cc inch diesel motor.<br>

It would appear that the G2160 Garden Tractor has a more powerful engine than any of these BX series tractors.<br>

Someone please tell me this "ain't" so :-(

If you just need to power a security light try Harbor Freight Tools. They have solar powered lights, item 93361. Please see the link below.

I am also thinking about the BX1500, contact Precision small Engines, College Park MD at 301-982-0900. You can also call Kubota directly and they can locate units that are still out there. I hope that this helps.:)

Thanks for the information. I considered the cost for the GT 550 and compared it to a Kubota BX 1850. I managed to locate a new machine here in Ohio but it would cost more than the Kubota. A dealer quoted 8000 for the GT 550. I have to go with the purchase of the Kubota.

Thanks for all the information. I will go with the BX1850:) The JD 2210 is a new machine. The dealer said that it was a left-over model and he had to sell it right away.

In addition, sometimes I wonder if this is overkill but I do not want to waste any more money on the cheaper garden tractors.
