mine started to do that a while back on the left side and the dealer siad he could sell me some shims but he himself likes to add a couple of small welding beads where the arms attach then grind it down to get it to fit. He said it seems to last better then the shims that you have to weld on anyways.

Sorry for any confusion we gave you, I am licenced in three states but I didn't know that there was 5 different versions of the NEC. Alot of time people have a hard time describing the correct way to do thier job, and that goes for any proffesion. I have tried to do many jobs around my house and have found out in the long run it is easier and cheaper to hire a quallified person to do the job for me.

Grinder Don't worry about the transfer panel you electrician install, I know the panel you are talking about . It is also one a few that Central Maine Power will accepted for approvel. The same is true for New Hampshire. I am liecensed in 3 states NH,Me,and Ma and install about 12 of these a year. No they don't switch the neutral but the uttillity companys along with the UL test this equipment. They just don't give thier aproval to equipment. And if they say to use this equipment then I use it. As for other Uttilitys or other states or countrys everyone needs to check thier local codes

My best suggestion would to contact a good local electrician , the reason they make code rules is because someone before you has found out the hard way the wrong way to wire something.

first go to your local electric supply house and get what we can a foam mouse. Usssally a couple of bucks. tie on a light wieght but strong string and put it in the end of the pipe. Now attach your vacumm to the other end making sure to get rid of as many air leaks as possible. Doing it this way way will suck out anything stuck in the pipe, including the ocasionall real mouse. do not try holding the string with your hand, it will give you one heck of a rope burn. also make sure the mouse is the right size for the pipe. I like to pull a 1/4 inch rope thruogh with the string and use that to pull the wire. Also you would be better off to pull 12/2 uf in the pipe instead of 12/2 nm wire

something you all have to know is that if you put up a halogen light the lamp should not have more than a 4 degree angle side to side or it will burn out prematurly , what happens is that one end will over heat more than the other end.

I don't know about the 4200 but my 01 - 4300 had a recall on the hydrolic pick up tube screen. If this is true with yours you might want to check with your dealer about this.

I am looking for a machine to chop up and spread bails of hay much like a big wood chipper. I have seen some being used and they were small enough to tow behind a 4 wheeler or tractor. The hay was carried on another trailer. It would make it easier to spread hay on woods roads or multi use trails.

I don't know about your area but check local codes , most of the towns around here will not let you attach a slab to a foundation due to the fact of frost movement

dave is right here in NH ,PSNH wants both primary and secondarys at least to the meter to be in pipe. I believe CMP in Maine is the same. Most uttillitys have someone that will work with you and design a system for you ussally at no cost. Now as for pipe or direct buried I would go pipe because in 20 years as an electrician I have fixed dozens of direct buried lines that have chafted on rocks with the frost. Only 1 in pipe and only because the guy forgot it was there in his own yard in which he had installed himself.

around here they have what they call attic trusses or 2nd floor trusses. The trusses are built so that you get a room 12' wide by 8' high on a 24' wide building. built acording to the estimated load and if any walls under it.

great job on the forks I like the idea of the grapples for picking up logs. I will have to get started on mine, an old friend of repairs forklifts I will have to see if he has any old forks.

I wish they had put it on mine for me but I found the wires and hooked up my own. There were no connector though , I think the dealer cut connector off and just black taped. I checked other tractors at the same dealer and found the samething .

After twenty years i have found no proplems with any of the UL approved devices for tranfering power. Now power does return on the neutral but it returns to the source. Also the neutral does not go thruogh the transformer and if you look each house and transformer and most power poles have a grounding wire , which are attached to ground rods or metal pipes going into the earth. if needed i could get into thearoy but we dont have enuogh time for that.My thought is if you hier a good electrician if it is wrong its his fault, also here in NH the power companys will only let you install certain transfer switches
