If i didnt have a woods 60 i would buy a rhino today. if someone would buy this woods 60 i would buy a rhino today.
i want a tw60. my uncle is running one and if he runs one it is TOUGH!!!!
he has a ford 3000 that is fully bellypanned and if he can push a tree over he cuts it up. i think he has had this rhino for a couple of years and talks good about it. he used to run sidewinders but they are out of business.
he likes his. ( now his is the heavy duty model )

THinVa , i bought a kubota L3000dt w/ FEL,woods BB60C, disc and boxblade for about $300 more than you can get the mahindra for. Shop around some more. you can get a better deal than that. i didnt rush and i think that helped.
also for me i thought about what tractors have been around . i never considered a brand i hadnt any knowledge of. for me it was between kubota , new holland, and john deere. i saw some massey fergusons i would have considered one.
I stopped today at a guy that sells implements in his front yard. i was looking at some blades he had and he had a mitsubishi tractor. he said he can't get rid of it.
I just thought about who was going to be around in a few years before i paid good money for something.

When i bought mine i got tractor , FEL , woods bb60c cutter (slip clutch), 16x16 disc and atlas box blade 5'hd delivered for $15,000. granted it didnt have a heated cup holder, heated seat,digital display, super shuttle hydro super slide drive transmission. it came ready to work!! <br>
Yeah i have to push the clutch in to shift to a higher gear really slows me down . but then again for the same tractor with all the above goodies would have cost me more than i paid for all i got. <br>
I really wanted a L4300dt for the horsepower but budget ruled. i have been very satified with it.<br>
And when i drive down the road i see old kubotas still working very much like mine. i havent seen any old mahindras ,kioti's,agri cats or the long list of new ones. <br>
so i feel very comfortable that far after i pay it off it will still be going.<br>
try and work a package deal for what you want. i came out better that way. and after i got mine i found lots of other toys i want for it.<br>
Now lastly think about it are you going to be driving this thing to work? everyday? or just mowing and digging post holes on weekends? if it is the latter, economy ain't so bad!<br>

Oh yeah in arkansas they can't keep 3000dt's on the lot. my dealer said it is the most popular model he sales. i have seen only two used 2600's for sale and they didnt last long.

I have had three wheelers and the first time i rode a four wheel drive four wheeler i bought it. i sold the three and never looked back.
But i have seen two wheel drive four wheelers go anywhere a four wheel drive will go with the right tires.and rider of course.
yeah those three wheeler would go but on my four wd with 26" super swampers i don't have to get off and lift the rear end to get off stuff!

Joe in va i'm with you ! i even drive the same tractor! The L3000dt is a hard working machine!
I have driven ford all my life but the kubota works just as hard!
I'm no yuppie !!! A redneck!!!!!!!!
I don't own a HONDA, car that is! i do drive a honda atv and the kubota sits beside it!
I drive a GMC! but heck most of was built in canada!!

I just added a 60" piece of 3/8 by 3" steel to my FEL bucket and welded my hooks to it. after i got it all welded on i painted it with kubotas orange II . you would think the piece with hooks was installed at the facory!!
I also sprayed a little in a cup and touched up some scratches on my hood. i used a little brush to do it . covered great!!
The only thing i can complain about kubota paint is the cost!!

I had the same delema a few months ago. with the same tractors. i studied the brochures and was online reading what others had to say.
I bought a L3000dt w/FEL. why? i guess reputation and word of mouth. i knew some people that had one and they were very happy. the kubota was actually cheaper in my area than the NH.
I have had it a little over a month and put 35 hours on it. it has performed flawlessly . i am actually impressed with it. I have done more mowing with a rotary cutter and the thing is great. the FEL is a must IMO.
i am so glad i got that and i wouldnt recommend anyone buy one without one.
The only complaint i guess i have is that the front tie rod boots are soft and i have torn two. now i have run it in the woods. i replaced them and built some guards out of angle iron for them. i will see if that solves that problem.
I think they are both good tractors and for the money you can't go wrong. and you know what i don't mind the shifting i always had to do it on an old ford 3600 i ran. yeah it takes a little more time so?

( oh yeah i think they redesigned the tc 30 hood , i passed the NH dealer and he had one that looked like it had a sloped hood on it)

I was told that the rebates are gone but to only add about 150 dollars to what the price would have been with the rebate.

L3000 = 800 rebate L3010 = 1400 rebate What is List cost difference

bill mine is only three weeks old and i have 21 hours on it! somebody just didnt use that one.
is the tractor FWD ? if so that ain't bad. i don't have my invoice in front of me but i think the tractor and fel was around 13000.
i tell you what call 1800-844-9818 and ask for paul. tell him some nut on the internet said he could beat any price in arkansas on the tractor . now make sure you tell this ok!
see what he does for you . it won't hurt. i also went to the dealer you mentioned i just wasn't impressed . just my perception.
also the cutter what brand ? you can get a agricutter for around 500 new. i got woods because of the quality. you pay a little more but i think you get a better cutter. as much abuse as those things take i wanted a good built one that would last. now if you intend to just cut grass cheap is ok but brush hogs tend to make you feel powerful. so get a powerful tool. i paid 850 for a woods 60 with slip clutch. i didnt want to be changing shear bolts constantly. worth the extra cost.
let me know what paul says and make sure you tell him the nut thing. and also mention the nut says he has a L3000dt . i bet he pick up on who i am. ( and i am not an employee just a happy customer). good dealing.

and just to be fair someone else that beat the dealer you mentioned jimmys suzuki/kubota in camden ar. snookie hollis is the one to talk to . and he is a friend of mine. but i didnt buy from him. (good friend huh)

jeff l i bought a L3000dt , FEL ,woods 60,atlas 5' disc , atlas hd 5' box blade for $15080 full of fuel and delivered. if that helps . shop around and bug them. i think they were just glad i finally bought so i would stop calling and showing up. sorry now i need stuff. i really like mine and sure it isn't hydro but it also costs alot less. and it will work you into the ground ! i promise i'm feeling a weekend of it now . sore! but can't wait till next weekend got to go back ot where i was this weekend.more brush hogging yeah!
remember it's supposed to be work!!!!!
