On my Kobelco SK 015 excavator----The charging light goes off & on---I have checked ( with a 100 amp. battery load & charging system tester ) when the light was on-----the tester shows the system is charging--<br>
Also the fuel water filter light stays on all the time.<br>
Question---could the ignition switch be hooked up wrong causing this problem. I believe the man I bought it from installed a new switch connecting the red to the black terminal & black to red----that's the way I found it when I replaced a new switch---so that's the way I installed a new one.<br>
Any thoughts on this appreciated.

I have cut down quite a lot of trees on my property & others. Some 100+ tall, growing 3' next to our cabin ( had help from friend with a 4X4 tractor). But I have one in my front yard that when felled could come close to hitting a telephone line.<br>
So my question---Is there a way to determine the height of a tree accurately?

OK---just added 16 OZ. more to the crankcase---That brought the level on the dipstick to just a bit below 'A' (full).

Hey guys---I'm building a tool box/chainsaw holder on my Kubota B2320----Gonna do some welding --So---I assume I need to disconnect the battery. OK--do I need to disconnect both the + & - Or just the positive Or just the negative ?

IS there a preferred way of having the drive cog in diff. locations ---instances---IE.- like having the drive cog in front going up hill OR down hill with my Kobelco Excavator ( rubber tracts)---<br>

I have added 165 lbs on my front bumper ( Kubota B 2320 )& it seems to make a big diff. grading uphill' <br>
So I be thinkin more is better----problem is I have to remove the tires & drive 1 1/2 hours. (one way ) to do this---But dealer says it costs only $36 to do it---<br>
So ya think it will be worth it?---I need a shove in the rite direction please--

I put the bucket up as high as it would go on my Kobelco SK 015 excavator ( made in 1993). Turned the engine off. After 1 hr. 10 minutes the bucket was on the ground. (engine off)<br>
Is this normal?

Well I have used the 'Grease Buster' bout 5 times now & still not been able to pump grease in. I will keep trying though. Been useing Liquid wrench in it. I don't think any fluid is getting in there. Maybee I should use something else----any suggestions ?????
Guesss I will try a drill bit as KT mentioned. Last resort is to try and remove the pin & clean all up----But I think I will wait on the deisel mechanic to come out her (still waitin on him---3 weeks now---must call him)

Will consider your idea bout mounting a 25 gal. sprayer tank---sounds good--I will look into that---cost etc..
I notice you said you have 3 weights on your tractor---I wonder if they are suite case weights?
My local dealer ( well not local 1 1/2 hrs. from me )--he has suite case weights that fit my Kubota B2320--$92 for 55 lbs.. As I don't have much extra time to fabricate stuff this would be the easiest for me though the cost ( high) would be bout $300 for 265 lbs. the max that can be added without buying the frame ( $150 )that will hold 5 weights.

OK KT-----just finihed moving the lifting rods to the furthest holes ( from back of tractor) of lower links.
For some reason they were in the closest holes from back of tractor---Which as my manual says for higher lifting.
I think it is better but will have to some grading to be sure.

Try & clean the 10 year old desiel fuel ( if so ---How )---OR ----use it for burning brush piles etc..
What would you do?

I know what I would do with it---use it for starting fires---Don't need no more problems!

Wooooo is me---I was filling the hydraulic tank on my excavator when the funnel fell off---thus spilling some oil on my pants leg---<br>
So I have washed them twice & then again with ammonia---now drying out side on the line.<br>
Well now---I can still smell hydraulic oil on my jeans---though they not completely dry.<br>
So what is the best way to get rid of that smell---I'm afraid to put my jeans into mt chest of drawers ---perhaps the smell will contaminate my other jeans.<br>
