Check to see if you clutch is stuck.. Shift e everyrhing into neutral with the tractor not running.Try to rock or move the tractor a little, Then shift it into gear and try again, If the tractor moves both times then you problem is in the clutch You could ry moving the tractor by using a tow strap or chain. moving it just 2 or 3 d=feet will tell yuo id the problem is in the clutch

I don't know who told you to wait until it reaches operating temp. Thats folklore from years ago. Manufactures of engines now say that a "warm up of a minute is sufficent. Just don't use it to excess untlil it warms up I have a TC35D That I bought new kyears ago. Unless I am workinng it hard movin g snow, rotortilling, plowing, etc, my water gauge never comes up,

I had a similat problem on my TC35D.. The glow plugs were either weak or bad. Replaced them and works great

The cleaning under the seat solved both problems. The lever now operates fully in both directions.. Also is easy to use the lever again

I have had same problem in the past. With the brakes set and the tractor in neutral the tractor will start without the seat safety switch working, but will die if not in the seat. The problem is in the seat safety switch.
Tilt your seat forward and check the push button switch on the seat base. The metal tab on the bottom of my seat broke and I had to weld a new one on. An easy check of the switch is to unplug the switch and use a jumper wire on the wires. Always seem to happen when the weather gets cold.

Update. I unhooked the glow plug bar and tested each glow plug with a volt meter. All three had continuity. I took them out and tested them on the bench. again they all tested good. I then hooked them up to a battery and only 1 would glow. Instead of paying $44 at the New Holland dealer, I bought them at The local auto parts store for #10.99 Put them back in and tractor starts like it did when new.
