Thanks, kthompson & hardwood. I will make a farm journal as clear as possible.
Kt, 2.5' apart is based on tractor rear wheel. since the spray arm is 16 ft wide, it can cover 3 lines. Only the path line has that 2.5' space on both side. The line pattern is like
A sp Z sp A A sp Z sp A B sp B B sp Z sp B C sp Z sp CC sp Z sp C

A, B, C are the first couple batchs celery
sp is that 2.5' space
Z is the last batch celery or other less than 10" crops like Pak Choy.

I am thinking not to use real spray, instead of it I try to make 3 groups, each group has 5 soft rubber pipes and 6" apart. Connecting with a 200-300GL tank with a height adjustable arm in a 12" ground clearance cart. When I apply extra Nitrogen, let the soft rubber pipes sweep the ground between each row to apply liquid fertilizer.

Agree, it is the hard to me to make the all the things under control. Just want to do my best and give a try this year.

One other suggestion from a just retired farmer here who grew many acres of watermelons: keep a crop journal, anything that affects the crop record it with date with the amount. Limed May 6th, 2008 and amount. Even type of lime. Be sure to record your yields. That way you have a great reference as the years go on. Even the oldest of farmers only plant for say 50 or so years or 50 or so times. Not many businesses out there where you put so much money on the line with so many things you can not control with so few opportunities to get it right. Some local landscapers suggested typies they need. And I will try to sell them through ebay or local craigslist as well.
I sparated evergeen and hardwood area 50' apart. Hope can prevent fusarium kind disease you mentioned. Most of them like moist soil but need well drained.

Thanks for reminding. I hired people re-dig all the old ditchs, about 5000 feet in Feb. They use PC-200 done the jobs very quick. And built 3 fifteen feet cross pipe bridges. Looks the drain issue under control now.

Thank, Joe, KTom,HW. The past month, I learn lot from local farmers and become more and more familiar with this piece of property.
Something I did or hire local farmer did:
1. Brush hog 16 arces.
2. Open a 600ft road about 17-18 feet wide from road to open field.
3. Ask local farmer help me dig two 800 ft ditchs. One is 2 ft wide and the main ditch is 3.5 ft wide.
4. Visit couple local farmers. All vege growers, one is wholesale, other two are retailers.
5. Send soil samples to CPA, still waiting for the result. May need lime later.
6. Got some vege harvests from my 2000 square feet testing field.
7. Move over handred types of transplant (2 thousand ) selected hardy shrubs & perennials from my backyard to new property. Will watch how many of them can pass the winter on this open field.

The fact I learned:
1. The black dirt is very shallow, 1.5 feet most of place, some spots are little more than 2. It is not suitable for serious commercial grow. That is one of the reason why no real farmer interesting. But it is OK to me.
2. under black dirt is clay, grey color, poor to drain. Good for pond. :-)
3. wild animal is not a very serious problem, if the field is open.
4. Not enough time for me to do everything myself, learned how to hire people do something for me.

Joe and Tom: The local farmers told me it is too hard to control weeds on black dirt here, round-up is must. Especially at beginning. I will leave about 1.5 acre separate piece for future organic testing area to compare.

HW, I will hire local farmer to use 5 bottom big plow to break land for me. I will use my plow for smaller project later. I will not disk it until next spring. Let winter help me do the job first.

Other interesting thing I found is 6 line tension fence 15 acre kit. Including every thing except posts. 12.5 guage. <$500. Sounds if I can put a electric battery charger, and posts myself, <1K to control deers.

Used to drink lots of different Chinese liquor. They use different yeasts to get different tastes from combining different of rices.Japanese and Korean did same thing. They learned from Chinese since Tang Dynasty, 7 Century. They added lots of their own characters after that. Very good too.

Not sure which brand. I have been suggested If you want is last longer ,be sure it has sealed ball bearings and not white metal bearings. NH TA45D can handle a 6'. I am looking the same.

I believe Organic method is good. Like do all the Nature methods like Joel suggested. But I don't like the way they are doing certification, it sounds more like a market method than production method. Just look how many rules they changed in past 10 years.;-)<br>
Every one know cars make polution much more than bike, most people still like the bigger and faster one. Not all chemicals are equal to bad. At least not most of crop nitrogens:-)

Thanks, Hardwood. That is what I am debating inside these days. If it is said 2-year-bumper2bumper, then everytime I have to use trailer to send, that is equal no warranty to me. <br>
Local dealer suppose to be much easier, but totally depense.<br>
To my case, for MF 1540 with 12 tranny powershulter is the the one I liked the most. Dealer is in less one mile only. Local friends recommand. Only issue is the price $1800 higher than South states. PA price is much better, but I can not see much different about dealer locate 70miles or 1000miles away. Do I really care about that $1800 if I want use it to run a biz? I think not. Could be more concerning about unfair than cash value itself.

Vineland is in South Jersey, close Cap May. been there couple times, as Dennis said, very crowed. Own a small farm is my dream too. Just did it.
Closing next week. It is in Orange County, NY. Close NJ north border. The price is not that crazy. total 36+ acres, 4 acres highland can build house, others are muck land, half woods, half open old farm land, black dirt.
