Having some health problems, I read the posts daily, but don't have much to offer, my Son is home from Iraq and resigned from the Army. They can still call him back but no overseas duty unless he agrees. That took a lot of my worry away,and the Doctor said it was affecting my health. hope everything is all well with you!!

I guess the reason for one or the other is what you plan on using the forks for.
I primary used them to pick up limbs and trash I usually know where I'm going and don't really need a helper. the bolt ons ould allow me to load the limbs plus put small trash in the bucket. I plan on buying another set of the bolt on. The are easier for me to use in the woods.
If I were going to use them for moving heavier loads I would probably use my quick change forks.
I always worried about bending the bucket with the bolt ons, but I didn't lift anything that heavy. I guess every one has their own Ideas, I was only expressing mine!

I have a chance to buy a Femco soft cab that fits on my Femco Canopy (JD 4110)<br>
Anyone have any information on their cabs? <br>
They no longer make them and I was wondering if they didn't prove out, any help appreciated!<br>

I need some advice on where to purchase a bucket for my loader. I want to put on a tooth bar and not have to take it off each time I want the bucket to push snow. 53" size or near that. I can get the JD quick attach hardware to weld on if needed. JD part no is 14445. I think<br>

I've dropped some large Red Oaks in my yard on a hillside,would my 4110 be cabable of pulling some 28 to 24" Logs? I'm concerned that it would be to much for my Tractor.I've cut off the large log butts. <br>

The parts guy is new at my Dealership and all thy will tell me is" Hey Buddie we will install it for $300." After talking to them I'm not too sure I even would let them do it!

Called Northern and after talking with a Tech who didn't know the difference in their Models gave me a number of the Manufacture and they gave me all the Specs on their Various Models.<br>
Found new one on Ebay for $42.00 "Tap's" better Model including S&H wheras Northern wanted 43.00 plus 8.00 shipping.Their one at $32.00 didn't have the LCD Indicator.<br>

I took all my material down to the Fab shop that my friend owns and he told the guys to help the Old Man get fixed up! Well, to make a long Story short, while I was gone over the weekend and I went down today to start my welding. The guys started laughing when I couldn't find all my material(they had already welded up a great looking set of Forks for me and had put all my metal in a scrap box. I only wish I knew how to post pictures as it really looks great I even got the trailer hitch installed in the fork bracket)
They said that if I had of welded it in their shop and someone saw it it might have ruined their reputation and to save face they made it up for me!!
I'm reallty proud of it, but I owe it to all your pictures and information. Thanks ever so much11

I didn't think anyone besides me could do that! Ha Ha
Maybe they thought the 4110 wouldn't have enough power to haul a Mirrow!
I remember reading where someone installed a mirrow on their loader. I can mount a mirrow on a piece of wood and then use clamps to hold the wood on as I don't want to drill hoes in the Loader Frame although I wouldn't think those little holes would weaken it. Thanks Bob

I got 3 of the welders loaded in my Truck. They used a overhesd Crane. No trouble all the way home. Me Neighbor came over and I removed the tailgate pulled the Truck upon some wheel stands used 2- 2x!2 oak boards and rolled the Welders right off into my Barn,The welders had wheels on them. I'm really glad I didn't have to use my Tractor. Thanks everybody!

I too wasn't for the War in Iraq, and I don't we will make one change in their way of life. Thats all they know I don't think we should try to make people see our way of life! Like I said as an American I sure as hell don't want any middle eastern trying to force their way on us I didn't agree at all with our use of force but since we are there I will support our Troops. Its sorta like my police Action BS
