Visited the local Kubota dealer and got a price on a L3130, HST with R4's. It had a LA513 Loader and 66" square back bucket. Price quoted me was $17,100.<br>

How does this price sound to those that have purchased? What about this 513 loader? I see that most L's are fitted with the 723 loader. Any disadvantage going with the 513?<br>

I'm starting to research the purchase of a compact for the spring of '04. I know this may sound crazy but as I start to look at the various dealers I am finding that alot of the tractors feel "uncomfortable" to sit on due to my height (6'6"). With this being said I can only imagine what it would feel like working on one all day long!<br>

I determined that I am probably going to need something in the 25 to 30 HP range. I guess one of my big issues is with some of the hydrostatics the pedal is so close to the seat and with the controls for the loader almost touching my kneecap there is very little room to move my leg.<br>

Is there any models out there that may offer a little more room??? Typically how about the seat adjustment being modified to move further back??<br>

A couple of models that may show some promise is the NH TC29D, lots of driver comforts and the Mahindra 2810HST (it was interesting in that it had 2 different pedals for forward and backward).<br>

Also what about cruise control (the NH had it)??? This would eliminate the need to hold foot on pedal in an un-natural position. (I've got 5 acres of fields to mow with very little obstacles) Are there many more compacts in the industry offering this feature???<br>

How about the idea of overseeding the somewhat "established" grasses? is there some type of implement to attach to the tractor (ie broadcast spreader, etc) to make this easier? Otherwise what is the best way to do such a large area??

I'm looking at both the NH TC29 and the Case DX29. Never owned a tractor so I am new to this, when actually do the model years run? Are they like cars when a majority of the new models are introduced the fall before??

I was at our local Case dealer and he had no compact tractors on the lot, rather vague but he inferred that the new line was coming out next year. He only had a 1 page spec sheet that had a little story about the McCormick-Farmall heritage.

He said he'd have a 35 & 29 probably in Feburary. Is this right? These Farmall tractors are not even out on the market yet? Or did he just not have one because he is a small dealer?

He quoted me a rough price which was about $1000 less than the comparable NH, curious how it measures upmechanically and feature wise.

I am just starting my research so pardon my lack of knowledge if I pose a question with an obvious answer.... I too am heading in the direction of the CK20, Kubota B series but what is the Kioti LB1914??? Spec wise it looks similar to the CK?? I know there has to be some obvious difference, please explain...Thanks
