My cc 7205 cranked over fine but would not fire. After changing the glow plug module, all is fine. Also, the glowplugs on this machine are on and off very quickly, especially in the warmer weather. Therefore sometimes no voltage will be indicated unless the plugs are drawing . Hope this info helps.

TxJoey, A update on my cc 7205. I think the starting issue was caused by either a bad glow plug controller and or glow plug relay. Changed both with oem parts and , since then, no starting issues. Do not change the relay with an over the counter part, that did not work. This issue had nothing to do with fuel delivery. Just a note, the glow plugs only are active when the weather dictates. Therefore, sometimes, there is no juice at the glow plugs. Initially, I thought this indicated a electrical problem, which was not the case. Hope this information helps others.

Has anyone found the solution to this issue. To update, I've changed glow plugs, fuel filter, drained tank,cracked injectors, which do get fuel, checked fuel solenoid, which is good, changed positive cable , and still the machine is very temperamental. It seems to crank really strong, maybe too freely ,and sometimes when cranking it almost catches. Occasionally when I have removed the throttle plate it starts and it appears that maybe oil is in the fuel. Does this suggest a blown engine, and it is the blown engine that is causing the starting issue. I should mention that when attempting a start, the machine seems to smoke a lot. Hi,

Just a update on this problem unit that usually will not start. After all the tinkering with the throttle plate, injectors, fuel filters, bleeding the lines, etc., for the past month, the tractor has been starting.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what gremlins are involved here. Is there a safety switch issue or maybe an air leak? And if there is an air leak, how do I isolate it?
Thanks for the help PS Any one considering buying a CC should have their head examined.

Today's update. Took throttle plate off again and machine started. Blackish liquid came out of plate opening which did not look like 100 percent diesel. Is it possible a cylinder is cracked and this is a starting and performance issue? Thanks everyone for your assistance PS Maybe all these problems are associated with winter gel and or diesel additives. This was the first winter using these products and the start of the starting issues.
