Did you resolve the issue with your Ford 1000? Could be several issues simplest would be gaskets.

Yocsr1,

3PH are designed with the primary purpose of dragging and lifting stuff. The 3PH locking knob only prevents the hitch from descending, it can still move up even with the lock knob tightened.

Yup rubber only lasts so long before it dries out.. How old is the tire? You said crack not pin hole so it sounds like ready for replacement as Murf said.

Your land looks perfect for this application. As KT said you need to rig up a feed pipe to route the wire from a spool you have on a bar on the ROPS or other convenient location you fabricate. You can spot weld the conduit to the subsoiler with a curved bend to have it feed the trench. I believe most places require 24 inch minimum for 240 volt, 36 inches for main power, so your subsoiler will probably wind up in the 12 to 18 inches not quite code.<br>

Ride over the trench when done to compact.<br>

With only 150 feet if a one time project you might consider other options to avoid the pain of damaging the $400 of wire you are laying. A trencher rental would eliminate any risk.<br>

Be a better low risk project for dog invisible fence or low voltage.

When you buy a tractor that does not have much of a presence in market you should be prepared to give your mechanical aptitude a challenge in how to maintain and repair it.

It will be hard to even find out info on it let alone parts.

I think you are going much too big for 2 acres..probably better off with sub compact like Kubota BX IMHO

To help clear it if you have power steering rotate full left and right a couple of times standing still , then loader full up full down, full tilt several times, ditto 3 PH

I assume it still does not run right? If you have been cranking it since 5/28/2013 without it running it is quite possible the diesel fuel in the oil is from the fuel that never burned.

I would drain and refill. I wonder if you have a glow plug problem, there is another post on that subject on another Cub Cadet here that I see.

Besides looking for contaminants in the coolant and oil I would do a compression test. Let us know the results.

Think you need to siphon out all the old fuel first. Drain all the fuel be removing filter, store tractor for a day in dry location with fuel cap removed. Then refill full tank with new fuel treated with Power Service. Set throttle on high with helper and crank tractor while you bleed system.
