Greg,,seems like you got a lemon jinma,,farm pro??By having your kama sit in field for two hrs while you went and got a fuel line,,you already have more down time than I do on my jinma,mine has never failed to start or stop after starting,,I've done a few little things to it but its never broken down,thats down time to me,,,my jinmas got over 300 hrs,,I bet your kama doesn't have 100 hrs,,,so you see,jinmas don't have more down time than kamas,,maybe your jinma did,,but jinmas as a whole don't,,and specificly mine.Thats the bone I had with your advise/statement to the guy,you said kamas had less down time than jinmas,,number 1,you ain't had your kama long enough to know what kind of tractor it is going to turn out to be,one way or another,,when I first got mine,people would ask me what I thought about it,,I told them I didn't know yet,,after 1 year,still told them I couldn't tell them,,finally this fall,I actually recommended it to a couple of guys,,,,so you might say you had a jinma before,and you had a lot of trouble with it and your mechanic,,just don't say they all are that way,,your starting to sound like a big three owner,,,,,thing

Well now border line,as things goes on these tractor boards,every now and then you will get a johndeere owner coming in saying bad things,acting like a jinma owner,[or visa versa]now if you don't post on chinese board or I.D. the seller,then you know what we are all going to think you are,right?Not trying to accuse you or anything,just telling you how it works. I got a jinma,[chinese tractor],sold by northern tools,its 25 h.p., bigger then a subcompact,[its no lawn mower],4wd,will handle a 5 ft brush hog or 5 ft tiller no problem. You can get them with front end loader,backhoe,or anything else you want,comes from northern with a 6 months parts AND labor warrenty,you can buy additional warrenty cheap. Cost was about 8,ooo dollars,put together,tested,ready to rumble. Richard

Bow is the only way,for many reasons. I had been gun hunting for over 20 years before I started bow hunting about 12 or so years ago,now,in gun season,its a letdown,I just lean up against a fence post in the edge of my yard and watch across the hill for somebody to run one out,got a spike this gun season that way,not to exciting,compared to hoping that 12 point whould just take 10 more steps in my direction this bow season. Before I started bow hunting I had never seen two bucks fighting,or a buck mount a doe,[or almost],except on tv,never knew how much noise they made munching on acorns,and never spit on ones back. Oh yeah,tiger inn,lets see,college inn,upset a pool table in there one time,ricks place,[was that the tiger inn],new him well,rick,that is,then they was another one right up the street,been in a couple knockdowns in there,then the log cabins on rt. 50,then the vfw,been in a scrape or two in there,yes I saw the inside of the salem jail. Man thinking about it,they sure was a lot of beer drinking going on there,I ain't been to salem since about 1983.

I'm from calhoun county,been living down here for 13 years now,I like it down in this area.

They all break,go up and read on the kabota board for example. Yours and mine will break too,its just that,after we bought ours,we have a lot more money left over for fixing,hell you can buy two of ours for one of the big three,or just about, Richard

Dedeye,you can buy a brand new jinma 25 h.p.4wd with front loader for about 10,000 dollars,comes with 6 months parts and labor,tested and ready to go. Of course they break too,but you might be money ahead,and its new. Richard

Well,if it is really a clover field,thats not bad now,as far as wildlife goes!You might just be able to lime it,the pellet lime needs to set for a while,powder works quick.Then disk it with your disk so the seeds you plant will make soil contact,then go over it lightly again with disk to cover a little,but if its a clover field your already close. The roller,don't think you would need unless your worried about how smooth it is,might even be bad for going over planted seed with,espiecially if dirt was damp. Richard

Temp. sticks are the way to go,as far as the alumn. goes,probably just real hand warm is all you need,if stick welding,we never even preheatif ambient is 50 or around there when miging around 3/8 thick.<br>

There are other reasons to preheat Blizzard, then to just dry water off surface,so your water boil reference may have meaning but there is more to it then that. Richard

Parts are not a problem,service is as easy to come by as any tractor,you got to get somebody to work on them,if you want somebody to work on it. My independent green and red dealer both said that they would work on it if needed,cause they needed the work,any qualified shop can also work on them,They sell them with parts and labor,which is good anywheres. So whats your next reason for not wanting one and maybe I can dispell that myth also. Richard

Who the hell really cares what a tractor looks like? Its how they work and last that matters,for 8,000 dollars less then jd or kob,for same SIZE,I can do without some bells and blow things.I still say you are better off getting a 25 h.p sears mower to mow your yard and a 8,000 dollar jinma to do your other work,then getting an oversized lawnmower with 4wd to try and do both,your still thousands ahead,and you actually have equipment sized for your job. A magnet will tell you if its alum. or steel.Something like I think you are talking about,is hard to get a good weld on,little,many pieces etc. But if its metal you can weld it,or braze it,or solder it,etc.See if its magnetic and if it is,try welding it,sounds like you are oxy.act welding?, so use a small tip,don't just melt it away,get you a couple of nails and practice on,if its something with a lot of curves etc. it may warp from the heat and not be useable. Some things are just easier to buy new ones then try and weld them up to where they work like new. Richard

My nortrac 25 h.p. has no problem with a 5 ft,so you can probably go 5 ft too. Now I don't know much about your tractor but mine has a two stage clutch,important when running brush hog,if yours don't have a two stage,then there is a deal you might be able to put on ,called an overrunning some thing,can't think of it now,the two stage allows you to stop and take off with your mower running at speed, somebody else will know more,but if you got a two stage,then get the 5 ft.,might want to look on down the board there are spots there for older tractors,maybe someone there can help more better. Grinder,sorry to hear of your trouble. I have always had great support from northern on my chinese nortrac. My service contact even sent me pictures of the deer he killed and big crappie he caught,we are on a first name basis. You lose some of that with those big companies I guess,don't worry though,those jap tractors are pretty good now adays. Richard

I didn't know that about the rhino tractor. I don't think this will be the case with this jinma though,but who really knows for sure. They ,northern, have been selling them for 5 or 6 years now,as well as other dealers,they are just now catching on I believe,but if we for instance,went to war in one way or another with china,who knows right? Course if we really went to a shooting war with china,tractors,who cares. Richard

Yeah,my nortrac has an adjustable stopper on the 3 point lever so you can lower it to what ever height you got it set for. As far as transporting,its intended to be picked up rear wheel off the ground far enough to where it don't hit the ground,but you can pull it also,wouldn't want to go very far down the blacktop like that though. I hardly ever raise mine unless I'm going through a big dip,course I stay on grass.I don't have no guards on mine either,but I mainly just cut weeds and grass over the same areas,if you were really brushoging you might want something,or cutting on ground that may have something hidden in the grass that could get you. Cut with mine level also. Richard
