That wire is service entry cable 600 volt max. Needs to be buried 4 feet covered in sand to meet code. You need to dig a trench with a backhoe to do it right.

Mercedes has been doing the replaceable filter element for a while as has some Chrevrolets. As long as the filter is accessible from the upper engine and the removable cover is on the top it is really not bad at all. Only headache could be bad o rings or dirt grit on the seal.

When I bought my generator the Mower Shop told me to be sure to only buy 1 gallon of Premium fuel at a time and run the Generator for 15 minutes a month to keep the battery charged.<br>

He said Premium fuel would have less ethanol in it and would stay stable longer. Regardless I add Stabile fuel conditioner anyway.<br>

So I was so comically dedicated to the idea that Premium had less ethanol in it that for fear of getting anything but premium into my can I ran a couple of gallons of premium into my car before before putting the one premium gallon into my can for the generator just to purge the pump hose of the dreaded ethanol laced regular gas :--)<br>

Now from what I have researched it seems there may be an even higher percentage of ethanol in premium fuel than regular as ethanol can be used to get an octane boost.<br>

So anyone got any ideas about Premium fuel for small engines? Fact or Myth ?<br>

My son is 18 and has seen me operating our Kubota Diesel Tractor for 10 years now. This morning he was surprised to hear that the Kubota cannot run on GASOLINE! <br>

Teen boys seem to be slow on the pickup on anything they are not interested in... I have told him that the tractor runs on Diesel fuel many times.. I have encouraged him to operate the tractor but zero interest... not a VIDEO game I suppose.<br>

In the off chance some unenlightened individual put gasoline in a diesel engine, it is my assumption that the outcome would be dependent on how concentrated the gasoline fill was...at 100% gasoline substitution I would think that early ignition might wreak havoc on the valve and piston rods.<br>

Anything else as if that would not be bad enough ...:(

Update my brothers son attending coimmunity college in Florida broke up with his HS sweet heart last summer, and now is failing all 5 courses he is taking, he parties smokes pot, drinks, has an Amex from my brother for expenses drives his Mustang GT 5L, lives in the house my brother bought by himself..... no interest in school or work ...

My son continues to research all ways to get high... went to 3 counseling sessions, won't go anymore. Getting bad grades in HS. Reclusive, plays grand theft auto all day. Few positives, continues to work at Subway 12 hrs week. Still not allowed to drive our cars, offered car use if he would quit drugs, no deal. Eats in his room only comes out for food... Wants to get apartment with his drug using friends next year... Oh the joy.

Crunch, did you try to control your son's drug use or just let him have at it. I am not enjoying policing his web activities etc.. Is it better to just let him run his course?

My guess is that the problem is with the work done by the shop. Replacing hoses and fluids does not cause pump failure.

If you did not change the fluids and hoses yourself you will not want to tackle pump replacement.

Wet conditions are never ideal why not wait if you think that it will dry out later? If its always wet how about concrete piers? Not clear from your message as to whether the poles will dug in virgin soil, or into fresh back fill which is not a good thing wet or dry.

Since Papal succession is usually after the death of the Pope, I found it much stranger in the year 2013 for the Vatican to be using the traditional smoke signal to let the world know that a new Pope had been selected. Could save on matches to just send a text message :)<br>

Much as you might laugh if a native american sent a smoke signal for a new casino opening. I had to wonder how they erase a smoke type error, whoops smokes too white.... add more wet stuff... oh no what color are we sending it looks brown ... LOL<br>

Seeing a live shot on all the media with their lenses focused on the Papal smoke stack seemed ludicrous, since the Pope resigned, we were absent the mourning of the death of the Pontiff, and the somberness of the occasion was absent, no magic.<br>

Anyway, tradition is tradition, but the smoke signal is just one more sign of hanging on to things that were the only way to do it thousands of years ago....

A back or hand held leaf blower works as well or better than compressed air, I have tried both, and switch between them.<br>

You could also try a shop vac.<br>

As mentioned pressure washers can get water where you don't want it, and if you are not super careful they can remove paint/finish also. Just be gentle with it :--)

I have dual undermount stainless steel sinks in my kitchen. They are screwed into the granite countertop, the main one is jumbo sized but being stainless is pretty light. Had this setup for eight years no problems.<br>

Our setup one Jumbo undermount with a smaller undermount next to it, with a single plateless faucet with the pullout hose all in one looks great. The only issue is that guests frequently don't realize that there is a counter level 3" piece of granite between them so if they push the running faucet between them you get water all over the place.<br>

They do make dual sink undermounts now, so I would do that instead now. <br>

I have the BX2750B on the B7610 and it works great. I have a 1000 foot paved drive. It even handles the large parking area I have with no problem where I have to keep blowing snow over again.

I can see how you are confused, I have been analyzing the same type of situation here for a long time minus the new house, my house was new when I started the analysis. I have been using a Garden Tractor (WheelHorse) with front single stage blower for 20 years, 7 on this property. <br>

Sure I am gettin the job done with the WheelHorse except I have to battle the storms 4" at a time, very painful.<br>

Any of the tractors that you are looking at will do the job and you will not have to battle the storms like I do. <br>

I am puzzled by Arts comments. I have over 1000 feet of driveway with up to 10 % grade + and I have a total of 5 acres with 3 acres in clear unobstructed finish lawn. Art recommended the BX for it. Take a look at my pix. How could art recommend a BX for me a B7800 for you bypassing the B7510 and B7610 and more importantly not telling you that a BX is the only choice here, I am lost again!!!!!<br>

I was skeptical of the advice, I don't think short wide tires on the BX are good on hills. So I placed a order for the B7510.<br>

In your case a 300 foot drive really is not that big, and your yard seems to be pretty small as well.<br>

If you are used to or want a driveway that is paved and clean after a snow storm ( a wise choice on hilly drives), a loader and blade is kind of sloppy. After all a Loader is an excavation tool not a snowplow, even most fullsize backhoes replace the bucket with a flex blade for moving snow. So with a Loader / backblade you will leave some hard pack snow which will become ice, you will rip up the edge of your lawn along your drive .....etc. <br>
<br>
On the other hand buying a snowblower allows you to use a much lighter tractor, and the results will be a perfectly clean job.<br>
<br>
I think it is a common miscalculation to over buy when buying a new house, you are in a spending mode. I know someone who is in exactly your situation and is buying a Grand L 4630, absolutely ridiculous choice, it will be sitting in a Garage unused for its lifetime, foolish to me because if I ain't using it I am not happy. Hey but if you like to collect things you rarely use I guess it is OK.<br>
