I bought my BX23 in May of 2004 with a 60" MMM and I paid around 17500. I think the MMM was around 1800, so that would price the tractor around 15700. Still worth the money, good little machine, I have no complaints with it.

I have 400 hours in 2 years so thats 200 per year on mine and I haven't used the MMM yet. at least I know I got my money out of the back hoe.

WOW! I must have got a really good deal, My dealer sold one to me and installed it on the rim for $20.00.Had a stick tear a hole in the front left.

I’ve replaced the band part once and the brackets that hold the band to the engine three times they where all covered under warranty. Check out the BX 24 the air cleaner is part of the radiator mount and not attached to the engine. Hmmmm!

If you’re buying a tractor for the loader usage and any rentable implements I would look into the B series, I have a BX 23 and sometimes the loader is to small for some jobs. you might think the B series tractor is to big, but really it’s not, you will find very useful.

You would be very surprised what a BX 23/24 can do. Would a larger tractor be better, Yes I would have to agree with others on that for some things, when I needed the bigger equipment I called in a friend and he helped out with his big Caterpillar it would take him 5 min. to rip out a 2 foot dia. Stump where it would take me a couple hours to dig around it, but then again when I had to remove 80 stumps his excavator was faster. Now that all the big stuff is done my BX23 is a great tractor, I have a 5 foot 3PH rear blade and the Kubota 5 foot front blade for snow removal (since I live in Michigan) that works off the FEL joy stick I use this to clear my new 450 foot long drive way and it works great. All in all my BX23 is a good size for my 2.25 acres I also have the 60 inch MMM for mowing the grass. My neighbor has a Kubota B 20 and laughed at my BX till he saw what it can do. The choice is up to you, sometimes bigger is not always better. Good luck..

I have a BX 23 and noticed when I lower my FEL my pump make a whining sound and when I let the tractor idle I hear it too. I have not noticed the sound when using the Back hoe. I’m wondering if the problem might be in the valve body of the FEL. Im thinking about taking the tractor in to the dealership because I also have a front axle seal leaking. And the seal should be under warranty since I’ve had the tractor for just over a year. Any ideas?

I have a BX23 it's a good Small tractor. It does alot for it's size I use the FEL to move what ever. in my case I have the back hoe for rear wieght when using the FEL. But all in all it does the job just fine.

You can use the hoe to break up the soil with the teeth on the bucket will loosen the soil, and you can use the teeth for a gauge then use the FEL to remove the dirt, just keep the FEL level. You’ll be surprised what your BX can do around the house.

No the price just for the tractor. $15.500 is a really good price for both. I paid $16.500 for both last year.

I have found two different engine oil filters for my BX23 both are Kubota part #’s one is a smaller filter Part # 15853-32430 and the other is Part # 70000-74034 and this filter is a little bit larger. I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this? And is there any difference between the two?

I have bought the manual from the dealer and these pages are the same. if I only know this before.. The 2330 and the 23 are the same tractor except for the hoe on the BX23

You would be surprised what a BX 23 can do, it does a lot for the size it is. I’ve cleared out about an acre that was wooded (check out pics) for my pole barn this year. I bought the BX because when I’m all done the BX will be fine for the size of lot I have and the MMM will mow about an acre and half. I looked at it this way when I’m all done my tractor won’t be to big to use. And yes sometimes bigger is better, but if I need something bigger I’ll rent it.

It is really sad that these guys have so much power and don’t know how to use it wisely. Not all of them are idiots some do have sense. I work at a Collage where they get their certificate to operate a vehicle and carry a weapon. And you would be very surprised what graduates from these classes. Officers are in need so they pass them right on though the classes. The worst of it all is, they have three chances to pass to get their certificate, In my opinion that is BS because I only had one chance to pass my refrigeration journeymen license or I had to repeat the class over again and PAY FOR IT. But I did have a Sergeant tell me some time ago “you can’t wear a vest around your head” so you do have to be civil to who you pull over.
