May 17th I had the local mechanic who works on my L3240 come out to the house and do the 200 hour service on my tractor. The hour meter was at 203 hours. It took him about two hours to do all that was a part of my manuals requirements for the 200 hour check up. All was well except for some bolts that needed to be torqued to the correct tightness. It has been an amazing two years with the L3240.

Recently I came across another tractor carry all that is made by Reddick Equipment Company, from Williamston, North Carolina. This carry all is rated at 2500 pounds. I plan to call these folks on Monday November 26th. Granted this may be considered "over kill" for my application, but I have learned that if I can get a better, stronger product at a reasonable price, it is better to go that route.

LESSON LEARNED: The use of the ninety degree bend worked, however I found that it did create one problem. While I could turn the front tires to the right, I could not fully turn the front tires to their max limit to the right without causing the left front tire to rub on the ninety degree extension. I have since removed the ninety degree extension, and will live with dust and dirt (on some occasions) being blown up into my face.

"Yes, if you run a tool out of it long enough, it will drain the battery."

That was one of my main concerns when using an inverter. This thought of installing an inverter is still something I am considering, although I can always load my generator onto a trailer and pull it around behind my tractor when I do this planned project. I could also just buy a pole saw with a gas engine on it too.

A permanently installed inverter just would give me the freedom to be able to do those (special) tasks when you need to do them quickly.

How many grease fittings have you found on a Kubota LA724 Front End Loader? If you include the two on the quick release levers I have found a total of 18. What numbers have you come up with?

If I understand correctly the L3240 has a high and low range with a low, medium, and high range within each of those ranges. To me that adds up to six different ranges with infinite ranges within each of thos ranges. Is that correct?
