It was used at a nusery, mainly loading mulch. There is black top at this nursery. They traded it for another tractor. The dealer wants $10000 plus my ford 2000 gas. I think this is a little much. I guess my ford 2000 gas 2wd is worth about 3000? I think the L3010 would go for around $10000 with out a trade. What do you gentlemen think?

Sub compact vrs. compact

Someone made the referance to a BX22 kicking the crap out of a JD4100. Answer: No, it wouldn't. You really cannot compare the two, yeah the Kubota BX22 has more HP, but that is about it. I have actully had these two units side by side doing demonstrations, several times. I also had the TC21D in there. Kubota BX series has a limited category 1 hitch. Very few implements other than Kubota will fit on this unit. Not so with the JD4100 and NHTC21D. Sub compacts actually are becoming a nightmare for me. The publics expectations on them are unreal. And this goes for JD and Kubota both, even though I don't sale them. I know a lot of people who purchased them and here in Western, PA with the hills, they just do not and can not always do what is expected out of them. It's ashame. I know a lot of people who went out and bought the bx and are really unsatisfied, and not to pick on Kubota, because the same will happen with the JD2210. These are called marketing machines. Lets say 80% of the people who purchase these sub compacts like the machine but lack hp. Back in the begining, that $15000 ticket looked high so they bought the sub compact, but now, you can sort of see why the unit cost $15000 and people can justify spending that extra $4-$5000 dollars that they just couldnt depart with in the begining. So what do they do? They trade in and buy bigger. This was a genius philosophy that Kubota presented us with.

Hopefully this helps, 1) the warrenty will stay with the tractor, so you will have the remaining warranty. 2) go with the FWD, if you ever resale this machine, the difference you pay now will be nothing compared to what it will be later, in other words, I highly recommend the FWD.
3) I would recomend buying a hydro. If the new one is more than you can afford now, Ill find you a used one. I just sold a JD4300 2001 model with hydro, FWD less belly mower for $12600, the unit only had 145 hours on it. Belly will run you another $2200 new, but used ones are out there too. If you buy a gear drive, sooner or later, you'll have to split it. These Hydro Transmission have been holding up VERY WELL. The first time you split the Trans. You paid for the Hydro. Yes, the incentives did change buddy. The smaller compacts are a little better and the series two and three compacts cash discounts are rather poor.

I can go:
0% for up to 36 months
3.9% for up to 72 months
5.9% for 84 months

I work for a dealer in western, PA. I beleive you have lots of life left in this machine. Especially if it was taken care of. Look at it and if the machine is clean and there are no taps in the engine, and even if there are, Yanmar engines aren't bad to work on. I would offer him between $12000 and $14000 for the unit depending on the shape. Good luck!!!

I work for a NH dealer and Im telling you, go new for that price buddy. New interest rates come out yestarday, 0%12, 3.9% for 24-60 months and longer if needed. The amazing thing is, you keep your cash discounts also.

The JD4210-4310 or either the TC30 or 33D will suite your needs. Im not real sure on the Kubota line, but anything 28 to 30 hp should do you fine. Ill tell you what I recomend. Have the NH,JD and Kubota dealer all bring out a comparible tractor to your house. There is nothing in the law that says that it is illegel. Have them sit side by side and look over the features you feel are absolutely necessary for you. make a list of important features and rate each one 1-10. The machine with the highest score, wins. Look at serviceability, comfort-mowing should be chore, but relaxing, efficientcy, ease at the opperating station, do you have to reach for the hydrualics, or are they by your side. I do recomend a automatic transmission, the ones we have sold for mowing from my store, seem to hold up a lot better.

I started selling at our one location a few years back. I was sitting in the show room behind our number 3 sales person in the company. My first few months, the only business I got was when he wasnt around. But, he never called people back. He did around $1,800,000 a year in sales. Well, I took what I could and started small, but I always kept my word and did what I said I would do. I have repeated buisness now and I guess a decent reputation. I guess the point is, I am here to do a Job and thats to serve the customer. That is what I get paid to do and it really sucks when I go somewhere and I know dang well, my question wasn't answered because a phone call had to be made, or it was to cold to go out on the lot and check. This kind of attitude is what drives me to become better a individual everyday! Yeah I have my days, but at least I try.

I work for a JD Dealership in Western, PA. the 55 series JD where all notorious for transmission problems, especially the smaller units like the 755. Ill be honest with you, either the 12x12 power reverser or the hydro on the JD4710 will be a better transmission than on your Kubota. You need to have a John Deere sitting right beside your Kubota to see the real benefits, but to answer your question, the Hydro in the 10 series is greatly improved over the hydro you had in your 955.

I sell both JD and NH. In this particular instance, the NH TC40 is a lot better tractor. I am Green Blooded, but you'll get a lot better tractor with the NH than going with the JD990. The NH has a much better transmission, a lot more comfortable and I would go with the Delux three-pt hitch. Excellent option. Right now is a good time to by also. Go Blue body. Not to mention, the NH is much easier to work on if needed.
