I have a rear blade on my B-2100 and would like to use it for snow removal. I am told I will need skid shoes on the blade to make it work properly. Does anyone know where I can purchase bolt on skid shoes? The blade is old and I do not know who made it. Is there a universal shoe available?

Would like to know what brands of oil people are using in their Kubotos. <br>I have a B2100 and getting near the first oil change. Most of the oil on the shelves in auto stores are labeled for gasoline engines only. I currently use Mobil 1 in my motorcycle and truck. Don't want to get into the synthetic oil and natural oil debate. Would like to know what others are using.

I have a 1957 JD 420 crawler (2cyl,6 volt). Everytime I run it the ign. points get a plateing on them so it will not start the next day.<br>I have replaced ,points,condenser (3 times),cap,rotor,and coil.Still the same thing.<br> Does anyone know what might be the cause?

I am using the Delta Hook quick coupling. It works great, if you don't have<br>any implements that have a tall gearbox. See the discussion on Delta Hook on this forum.

I looked at the Freedom Hitch and Delta Hook, I chose the Delta Hook because it was a little thicker material, and the latch is ajustable to compensate for wear, a big plus for me was that the Delta Hook does not move the implements back as far as the Freedom Hitch. It is true that the

I appreciated your comments and agree with you about 98%. The other 2% I hold out for a handshake, a smile, and a sense of appreciation for me as a customer... I don't think American made vehilces would be the quality they are today without the solid competition from the Japanese auto industry. Competition is a good thing for us, the consumer. It should also be a good thing for the manufacturers and and distributors if it forces them to be the best they can be in satisfying the consumer and thus, insuring satisfied return customers. I was hoping to get a little input from all the New Holland enthusiasts out there. While drifting through many of the New Holland web sites I came across an interesting photo that I am not experienced enough to identify. The photo can be found at http://www.newholland.com/nh/compact.htm. The photo is of what appears to be a compact New Holland tractor, most likely part of the Boomer series. If it is part of the Boomer series, it is distinctly different from the TC21d through TC33d. Below the photo is a paragragh describing the series 25 and series 30 compact tractors (of which I am not familiar). In an information grid below that, it gives specs on a 1630/tc27d tractor. I've never heard of a tc27d in the Boomer series before. Is this something new or am I just now seeing an older model for the first time? Any insight would be appreciated.

I faced the exact same decision roughly three months ago. I also threw the 24 hp Kubota into the mix as it was comparable in price. I have the luxury of having several dealerships of all three brands close by so pricing and servicing was also a consideration for me. I finally made my decision after picking up literature on all three and doing a side by side comparison. My biggest concern about the JD 4100 was it seemed as though there wasn't as many implement options available as the others. I went with the NH TC21d and have been well pleased with only one exception: The TC21d is a narrow tractor and I use mine (with a front loader) to move dirt, rock, sand, etc. I have noticed on several occassions, and especially on uneven terrain, the tractor seems a little unstable with a fair amount of weight in the loader. For this reason alone, I have considered moving up to the larger frame 25-33 hp Boomers. Best of luck to you...

Looking at buying Iseki TS1610 next week (4wd 2cyl deisel, 1250hrs, 3pt hitch, pto, good shape, no implements included). I've read that it's a 20hp but have been told and believe it to be an 18hp tractor? Seller firm @ $3000, is this fair? Is this a dependable tractor brand? Will use to level ~1acre lot with disc and box scrapper. Lot currently has 61 orange trees with many burms and drops 2-3ft over a 300ft distance; tractor needs to be small and able to manuever over obstacles as well as move a substantial amout of dirt. Is this enough tractor for the job (hp) and will it be enough for larger properties in the future (~5-10 acres)? What about 40 acres?<br>I know it's a grey market tractor and have found several web sites that sell parts for such tractors. Has anyone had difficulty finding parts for their grey market tractor? Do you have any good web sites to visit for parts? Non-grey market tractors in good condition are out of my price range ($3000 to $3500 limit).<br>Thanks for your advice, Robert

Be wary of the B8200... I had one with an HSD transmission and it was nothing but trouble and expense. When they start going out they are very expensive to fix and require a lot of labor. It becomes very frustrating when the engine is running hard and you're not going anywhere. Personally, I'll never buy a tractor with HSD again. Read into this what you will.<br>

Just purchased a B2100 4wd with turf tires. Does anyone know how much windshield washer fluid it takes to fill the rear tires? Also would like to hear from owners of B2100 and how they like or dislike the machine and any problems you may have.

Anyone out there use a moldboard plow on the B series Kubota? Just put a deposit on a new B2100 HST and it should be delivered in about 5 days. I have about 2 acres of old hay field that I want to put into grass. The field is very rocky with very large rocks so I thought I should maybe plow it first then rent a roto-tiller to finish it and then use a rock rake. Don't know what size <br>plow and dealer never sold a single bottom plow for a B2100. The tractor is coming wiht turf tires will it pull a 16 inch plow? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Went to the JD dealer to get prices on 4300 2wd w/ std trans (collar shift) and he offered a new?98/99 (not sure) 1070 w/300 hours on it for $13,750.<br>What does everybody recommend? Im waiting for my tc21d to arrive any day now. My package was the TC21D, 7106 front loader and R4 tires. THis is a 4WD with hydrostat tranny. My cost was $14,100. I priced it at two separate dealers and the second was within $110. I don't really have the breakdown on separate costs of tractor, loader, tires,etc. Hope this helps....

I bought a 4100 about a month ago. I got the gear transmission, since I will be doing mostly mowing. I have a 60 inch finish mower and 4 foot box blade. No problems, and seems to have plenty of power for both the mower and blade. It seems to be really fuel efficient.
