My 33da is about 18 months old I paid 18,500 with front end loader and a agri5,I guess prices have increased some! at the time I got a very good finance rate and it was no higher than a kubota, I live in Ala.

There are some wire's underneath the tractor towards the rear sometimes mine become seperated if I run over branchs and such and I have to plug them back together, hope this helps.

I recently purchased a JD 4115 and absolutely love the tractor. However, I now find that I have a need to occasionally use a backhoe. According to the charts, John Deere soesn't make one that fits. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket backhoe that I can match up with the 4115? Thanks

Looking at the DX40 and dealer claims that it will handle large round hay bales(1500-1700lbs). Claims it will hold one on back and on the FEL using a spear.

The specs on the 3pt and the loader confirm his claims, but I'm still leary. I can see when both on the tractor it might work, but the moving from the 1st bale to the second might be a bit interesting with out a lot of counter weight attached somewhere.

I would like your comments.

It sounds to me like a fair price, as long as it's in very good conditon.
This summer I purchased a "96 JD755 with 404 hours, 4 wd, loader, turf tires, 3 point hitch, an roll bar. It cost me 12,400.00 It is in excellent condition.
you didnt state the year model it is but the hours are pretty close.
Its a great machine. I love the hydro trans.. The fact that the one you are looking at is 4wd, to me makes it much more valuable. You will need the 4 wd if you plan on doing things other than mowing grass.

I'm another vote for getiing a finishing mower. I've got 3 acres and use a JD755 for my tractor chores and a JD425 for my mowing chores.Your property layout can be a factor, but on most situations the tractor will not be able to get in all the areas you need cut, the lawn tractor will. I'm a firm believer in the right tool for the job, and it sounds to me you need two tools to do the jobs you need done.

Looking for an engine--running or rebuildable--for a Shibaura model 2043. The engine block casting number is H843 and the tractor is actually a Ford mod. 1710, but from what I understand the 2043 is the 1710 grey counterpart. Let me know whats out there. Thanks!<br>
