Not sure if this helps or not but I have a 50 HP utility tractor with a 90" finishing mower and I would not recomend less HP. Going through deep grass I shift into 1st or 2nd. Paul

When they filled my tires filled with antifreeze they used an "RV" antifreeze.
They said it was not supposed to be toxic to plants or animals. Hope this helps

In the National Electric Code in "Table 300-5" allows you to run your wire at a depth of only 12" if all the following requirements are met: 1. It is a residential branch circuit 2. the circuit is rated a 120 volts or less 3. it has ground fault protection 4. its maximum overcurrent protection (breaker or fuse) is 20 amps.
In the same table it also requires a depth of 6" for 30 volts or less so your 12 volt lights would have to be at least 6" deep

Where is the snow!! I live in Michigan and just bought a new tractor with loader, rear blade, box blade and rear finish mower. Its to cold to snow and not warm enough for yard work. Let it snow, let it snow... Got new toy and can't even play with it. After much debate and reading this board I finally made the purchase. Thanks to everyone who post messages both postives and negatives about certain color tractors. I looked at most of the colors, green, blue, orange, yellow, and the chinese grey market and here are my opinions.<br>Green: Good tractor, must be expensive paint(green cost 15-20% more than all colors. Turf eating scared me a little, and the 2-3 month wait for a new tractor was not very appealing.<br>Yellow: Good tractor, nice finish, about the same $$$$'s as green.<br>Orange: Seem smaller than other tractors in same catagory, great engines(4cyl in the b2710 smoooootheeeee... good girly trans, excellent loader, highly recomend, wanted to much money down, local dealer is a bone head. Pricing only good from out of state, Steve at Carver Equipment most helpful and sincere, answered all my questions, the only thing he didn't do was send me a Christmas card. If your buying a Kubota, I recomend you realy consider Steve..... I think he would be 10X more helpful than my dealer 10 miles away. He understands the "power of the internet" if he screws someone here, he would have made his last sale through this site. <br>I bought the blue TC29D, loader and other attachment, good dealer 200 miles away, good price delivered to my door free. NH had low rate financing, 100% financing(building a house, light on cash)had good replies from people on this board, The good price was my Ford employee discount, $1000 rebate and low rate financing and no "TAX" price for tractor and loader w/hd bucket and tires loaded was $15,600 and $300 landpride 1572 blade, $525 2560 boxblade, and $1400 1572 rear dischage finish mower.<br>

After watching this board grow over the past year, it was a great help in determining what tractor to purchase. Am now a proud owner of a N.H. tc25d. The idea of a forum on hobby farms or compact uses and ideas would be great. I am looking ideas on how to move snow when all one has is a loader and a 5' scraper. Or any creative ideas anyone has on uses of different implements. Maybe even breaking things down into ideas for seasons. Thank you for creating a board that has been a wealth of knowledge to a compact young pup like myself and keep up the good work.

I have also experienced this problem and it continues to this day. I have 300 hours on the tractor and have to stop and remove the wheels weights every 30-50 hours to retorque the bolts. I have finally tried lock tite to see if that will help. So far so good, 75 hours without loosening. Though the dealer feels it is a problem, our good friends at Deere will not admit it. Keep us posted if it happens again.

I'm not sure if this helps but with 430 loader on 4300, bucket level went in with no problem. It fit exactly as required, no cutting.

I owned a 80's model Mitsubishi satoh beaver 3 that was 16hp and 4wd and used to get parts from the local Cub Cadet dealer. The dealer said that the cub compacts are made by Mitshubishi. Has anyone heard as to when the new Iseki compacts will be available? A local Massey dealer said he looked at some at a trade show and says they are pretty sharp and offer alot of standard options. I am curious as to what they look like and how they compare to the Massey compacts.

I have supersteer on my TC25D. It is way more handy than I had anticipated. I have a loader and backhoe on it with turf tires. Even with all that weight, I was able to drive around on my lawn and manuver in my backyard without tearing up the lawn. <br>Well worth having. I would really miss supersteer.

Let me guess your dealer just happens to <br>have a Green mower deck that costs a little<br>more than the Landpride. I have a 2560 and<br>use it with a Ford 1500 with 17 PTO hp you <br>have 20 PTO hp. I have not had a problem with<br>powering mine. I only wish I had gotten the <br>rear discharge.

Normally the hose ends with the 90' fitting are attach downward then the hoses hang down and loop forward toward the wheels. When installing the 90's so the hoses rise upwards there is alot of extra hose so you will need to cable tie these hoses off to remove some of the slack. Once cable tied on you should not have to make any changes. Good luck, hope this helps.<br>Paul

When making the connections either taking the hoe on or off the easiest way to do it is stay in the tactor seat. Simply shut off the tractor, move your hydraulic levers to release pressure from the system, turn around and kneel on the seat, remove the hoses. <br>I used to shut the tractor off and get down off the machine and struggle to remove the hoses from the ground and would cuss and swear until I got the hoses on or off. Once I learned about kneeling in the seat, I can actually take the hoe off or put on in two to three minutes without swearing.<br> <br>
