If the hydraulic pump is not providing adequate pressure, it could result in loss of power, especially when under load. Contaminated hydraulic fluid can cause various issues, including loss of power. Make sure the hydraulic fluid is clean and free from any contaminants. If necessary, flush the hydraulic system and refill it with clean fluid.

I came across this where and used IBC tote was repurposed for hauling split wood. It looks like it would hold too much if you tractor is not that large, but you do not have to fill it to the top

Could be a couple of things.

One of the worst would be that you are getting coolant into the cylinders. This could be a bad gasket or a crack.

Another one could be the fuel system allowing uncombusted fuel to be blown ou the exhaust.

I would check your coolant level first, nad if OK I would add a Cetane booster to your fuel first to see if it improves.

Not really a grass expert, but if you are as much of a procrastinator as you say Fatguy, I would throw starter fertilizer down as it seems you skipped the soil test and you might as well help the root system while you are at it if you are at it :-(

But turkey day is a great time to be doing it!
