Fred,<br>I live in W Mich in a lake effect snowbelt area. While I have a NH1520 with front <br>blower and rear blade, a relative has a MF1230 on which he uses a Curtis <br>hydro-turn blade and a Woods rear 3pt blower. While i prefer my setup for my <br>drive, my brother-inlaw prefers his. He has a longer drive like you indicate. <br>The front blade works well, it looks like it hangs out front quite a ways and <br>would tend to push the frontend sideways, but it doesn't seem to be a problem <br>at all. After he makes a pass, or two, up and down the drive, he uses the <br>blower to knock down any banks, and he is done. For his drive, it is faster <br>than a front blower and moves more snow farther than a rear blade. He does <br>have the rear tires loaded. (He had a KU L245DT with front blower and rear <br>lade before the 1230, so he knows both ways, and likes the front blade <br>better and is very happy with the Curtis. For my drive though, I'm <br>sticking with my setup.

Guys, I have a 1996 35DI that I bought new in October of '96. I gave $9600 for it with rear hydraulics. I like the tractor. What Jim says is true. The only thing I have had to buy was a glow plug. It came from a Massey dealer! Fuel filters and oil filters come from the local NAPA dealer, using Massey part numbers and crossed to NAPA numbers. Check the website Jim referenced

I just bought a 1994 B7100 HST w/54

Terrain King is very much in business. They are made in Seguin, Texas, about 6 miles from me. They are owned by the Alamo Group. They protect their dealer network very well. You can't buy from the factory. Except for government contracts (local, state, or federal) everyone has to go through a dealer. I think the only exception is if you don't have a dealer nearby. Sorry, but I don't know the exact distance. You can buy manuals if you need them. Most Terrain King products are usually government sales. The Alamo Group also makes Rhino equipment. Here's some phone numbers for you: Alamo customer service (830) 372-3551, Rhino customer service (830) 372-3080, Terrain King (830) 379-1480. Their products are very well made. New equipment will run slightly higher costwise, but when you see the quality, you'll appreciate it. Here's an example: I have two 6-foot shredders, one is Rhino and the other is Howse. The Rhino deck is made of 10 gauge metal, has a 60 horsepower gearbox and is much more solid than the Howse. I have a 1996 35DI TAFE. I wouldn't trade it for anything. If you like Massey Ferguson, then you'll like the TAFE. TAFE makes them for M.F.up to 45 horsepower.

I've got 2 Rhino flail mowers. One is a 74-inch cut and the other is an 88-inch cut. Rhino is made in Seguin, Texas where I live. You can't buy directly from them, you have to use one of their dealers I wouldn't trade either of these mowers. They are well built and parts (when you need them) are easy to get. I do a lot of mowing with these mowers and I change the blades once a year. The blades are reverseable, so half-way through the mowing season I reverse them, then in the off season I put on new ones.
